Ten years after joining the Real Housewives of New Jersey Joe Gorga now claims that his wife Melissa Gorga was given a hard time by every member of his family when she fired came onto the scene. According to Joe, his sister Teresa Giudice as well their now deceased parents, Antonia and Giacinto Gorga were “rough” on Melissa. “My mother was rough on her, my dad was rough on her,” Joe said on Friday during a live taping of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. He then sarcastically added, “and my sister was great!” Naturally, Joe praised Melissa for how she handled the whole ordeal. “She’s a good woman and then she married into an old-school Italian family and she took a beating — she did,” Joe declared. “And that’s why I respect her and love her because you know what, she’s the best,” he noted. Joe and Melissa have been married since 2004 and share three children: Antonia, 17, Gino, 15, and Joey, 12. Meanwhile, Joe and Melissa also revealed the secret to keeping their nineteen year marriage happy and healthy. “I mean, you got to do it,” Joe said, alluding that sex is the secret to his and Melissa’s happy marriage. “Listen, if you don’t do it, you walk around and you become roommates. I don’t want a roommate that costs me a lot of money.” “What happens is when you do it, then you walk downstairs the next day … and you touch each other. But if you don’t, you’re like ‘Hey how you doing? Did you pay that bill?’” Despite the couple’s current spicy sex life, Melissa says they didn’t have sex during the first three months of their romance. “I took her out … I wanted her so bad but I wouldn’t touch her,” her husband explained. “I played with her. I would have her come over and I would give her a little kiss.” He continued, “I wanted to touch her … I wanted to go to second base so bad but then I said ‘go home.’” However, when they finally did the deed it was “fireworks.” As for their biggest turnoffs, Melissa said “chewing with food in his mouth” while Joe said when his wife “says no to sex.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.

Larsa Pippen is clapping back at Nicole Martin and Guerdy Abraira’s recent claims that she’s “fake.” In separate interviews, the two Real Housewives of Miami stars both said that their co-star is inauthentic, in every aspect, on the show. Guerdy called Larsa “the fakest ‘Housewife’ of them all” during a live taping of Page Six‘s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast on Friday night. Then, during a recent interview with TODAY, Nicole said, “Her entire season has been shaming others, spreading rumors, starting conflict because she doesn’t want to share her real life. At what point is it OK to have a real life, but then you show us a fake life and you create fake drama.” She added that the veteran Miami Housewives have a “blind alliance” with Larsa, i.e., “I’m gonna have your back no matter what because of X, Y, and Z.” Nicole elaborated, “They can say the sky is purple and they will die on their deathbed saying the sky is purple together because they’re scared or there’s potential accusations that can fly.” When it comes to Larsa’s response, she fired back to Nicole’s claims on AllAboutTRH‘s Instagram.

In an interview with us, we asked Jacqueline whether Melissa ever spoke poorly of Teresa and if she even liked her to begin with. Jacqueline told us, “Yes, Melissa spoke poorly of Teresa when they appeared to be good, and no, I don’t believe she ever liked Teresa or wanted Teresa and I to be close again. Everyone was just playing the tv game.” Jacqueline added, “I believe Melissa [Gorga] was jealous that Teresa and I were getting along and she knew that producers were pushing for us to be friends again. Fans were hoping that the two would reconcile and their wish came true because the ladies reunited on Saturday while Teresa was in Vegas. The RHONJ OG had another message for the Gorgas after she declared, “I gave birth on the show. I went to prison on the show. I got divorced on the show. I got married on the show. I buried my parents on the show. This is what I’ve done, and [Melissa’s] story is I didn’t return a text message. We are not the same. Never have, never will” on her Namaste B$tches podcast. “You want the facts? You want the truth? This is it. Teresa was vindicated in recent months after former RHONJ producer Carlos King confirmed that Joe and Melissa joined RHONJ behind Teresa’s back. For years, Teresa has insisted that she had no idea Melissa was being cast on RHONJ until days before filming was set to begin.

“Since my family came on the show, it was very hard for me to enjoy being on TV. Here I am, just getting my feet wet, enjoying it, and then bam. I get knocked, really stabbed in the heart with my family coming on the show behind my back,” Teresa told PEOPLE back in December 2022.

“The reason why I still talk about it now, and it’s been 10 years, is because it was very traumatic,” she added. “I never signed up to be on a TV show with my family. This was my thing. I was excited about it … and then, all of a sudden, I get bombarded and ambushed by my family. And it was very sad because I felt like my dream kind of got shattered.”

Now, Melissa says she can’t believe Teresa is still harping on how she joined the show.

“It’s the tale as old as time… It’s as old as the sprinkle cookies at this point, okay?” Melissa said. “This is where I get mind-boggled. It’s like, there’s no new innovations to this. It’s the same story we’ve told.”

“Nothing new came out; nothing new is happening. It’s the same thing we’ve been saying over and over and over, and the fact that she wants to dig in 10 years ago to make a reason in her head to be mad is what’s more baffling to me,” Melissa elaborated. “I thought we’re all supposed to be happy here. New life, new marriage. To dig to find something to be mad at, to me, is bonkers, and I want nothing to do with it.”

“I’m not changing my story, and she’s not changing hers,” she continued. “She can bark about it all day long. I’m so over it… Her and I have had that conversation a thousand times and totally lived a normal life since then — we’ve been on vacations together, we’ve held hands, went on girl’s trips. All of a sudden, we’re mad again? I can’t help you anymore.”

Former RHONJ star Jackie Goldschneider is finally opening up about her demotion to friend of the wives. Initially Jackie denied that she would be a friend of stating that no one knows her status on the role including her. Back in May, Frank Catania confirmed that Jackie was in fact demoted and that she was aware, “I didn’t know for sure, [but] I went out to dinner the other night with Jackie and Evan,” Frank said. “And, yes, I heard. Yes, alright, she is a’ friend of.’” Jackie still insisted she chose to shift to friend role on RHONJ despite sources saying otherwise. Now Jackie is opening up about her new role telling US weekly, “It’s hard to go into a room that you were once the center of attention and now there’s what, seven Housewives? So to be the eighth person in line, that was, like, a little bit of an ego punch. My ego hurt at first, of course, but there really was no difference.” Jackie says that she is aware she wouldn’t be able to handle a full-time role explaining, “I love this show and I love Bravo, so I wanted to stay a part of it. So, going in it was a little rough because I didn’t really understand what a ‘friend’ did, but once I got into it, I didn’t really feel different about my job. I did my job exactly the same as I always have done. I went into every scene, I moved story along, I gave my opinion on everything, and the cameras were constantly on me. I was a part of every single cast event and cast trip.” Jackie adds that once she took her ego out and fully embrace her new role that this was one of her best seasons.
