Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is making moves since her split with Tom Sandoval.
The 37-year-old is expected to join ABC’s Dancing With the Stars when the show returns for season 32 in September, according to Page Six.
“ABC is in late-stage conversations with [Madix] to be a contestant to join ‘DWTS’ this fall,” an insider confirmed.
The sources say the Pump Rules star “has already received all of the approvals and sign-offs from NBC Universal,” which is the parent company of Bravo.
Since her split from Tom, Ariana is focusing on her career outside of the reality TV realm.
On top of DWTS, Ariana is set to appear in a new Lifetime movie, “Buying Back My Daughter.” The movie is currently in production.
She is also in the process of opening up a sandwich shop with co-star Katie Maloney called, Something About Her.
As we have previously reported, Ariana dumped Tom after she discovered his 8-month-long affair with their co-star and good friend Raquel Leviss.
The drama is set to play out on season ten of Pump Rules, which is currently airing on Bravo. The Pump Rules cast recently closed the chapter on the show’s most fiery season ever when they filmed the much anticipated season ten reunion.
Reunion host Andy Cohen recently teased that the season ten reunion was “aggressive” and confrontational on his SiriusXM radio show.
“If you are looking for them to be confronted to their face about what they’ve done — in what I would say [was] an aggressive manner, a confrontational manner — you will get it,” he said.
Speaking of the season ten reunion, Lisa Vanderpump appeared on the April 6th episode of Steve O’s “Wild Ride! With Steve-O” podcast where the former Jackass star asked if Tom and Raque’s affair was “not the greatest thing that could ever happen” to the show.
“Well, obviously you look for great ratings, and it has produced that,” the RHOBH alum explained, according to Us Weekly. “But after 11 years with these people — kids, they were, when they first started working for me about 14, 15 years ago — I’m very emotionally invested in them. So, I feel like I’ve been on so many journeys with them. Of course, it’s fantastic television, but at a great price.”
She noted that Tom and Raquel’s affair along with Tom’s split from Ariana was “so unexpected” for everyone in the Pump Rules cast.
“We weren’t filming then. We weren’t prepared for this,” she continued. “We’ve just shot the reunion, and it was very, very intense and emotional. And I love them all, all their follies and foibles. I love them all very much.”
While Steve-O thinks Tom is “gorgeous” LVP doesn’t think Ariana would agree with him at this point in time.
“I think Ariana might disagree with you right now,” LVP quipped. “I think she referred to him as a ‘piece of s–t’ in the reunion.”
LVP agrees that the Pump Rules cast is littered with beautiful people but says she respects them the most for their ability to bring the drama.
“These people really give it all. They don’t sit there in the corner,” the longtime Bravo star explained. “I’m not saying they’re trained, because they’re not trained at all. The kind of people that are good for reality television are people that really express themselves honestly. And when you do 10 hours of that and they’re all sitting there, that’s a lot of honesty.”
Pump Rules airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.
