Monica Garcia’s mom, Linda, reacts to the RHOSLC tea that has emerged since the RHOSLC finale. Plus, she slams Bravo for being “toxic.”
Like mother, like daughter! Monica Garcia hasn’t been able to shut up on social media since the RHOSLC finale last week. And her mom, Linda, is following in her footsteps.
Since the RHOSLC finale, Linda has been tweeting to her heart’s content, so much so that her fingers must be exhausted!
To start, Linda commented on the revelation from the RHOSLC finale that her daughter Monica was behind the troll account Reality Von Tease.
“Just when I thought the drama was over, the hits keep coming. This week is yet another exercise in patience, forgiveness, and owning one’s own karma.”
She then responded to the leaked videos showing her and Monica arguing over how Monica was screwing up her shot at becoming a star on RHOSLC.
“By “these two” do you mean Monica & Ratesha? Bc I’m not in on anything. In this video, I was trying to coach my daughter to play nice and get along with her co-workers. TV is a job. That’s all it is & you gotta get along with your coworkers if you want to last,” Linda wrote.
“I’m claiming I wasn’t in on anything. Zero. Nothing. I showed up for a few scenes and that’s the extent of my involvement with anything,” Linda added.
She continued, “If I had known I was going to be secretly shot, I’d have done my hair, put on some Spanx and mascara.”
According to Linda, she had “zero interest in appearing on RHOSLC” and wanted to help her daughter.
“I had zero interest in Reality TV. None. I had zero interest in appearing on RHOSLC,” she wrote alongside screenshots of text messages between her and Monica.
A day later, Linda took aim at Bravo, writing:
“LIES, BS, TOXICITY, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL.”
She added: “@bravotv @media1 is the devil. I said what I said.”

When a fan told her to “calm down,” Linda fired back: “I’m calm. I’ve finally reached my threshold for insanity.”
As for whether or not she thinks Monica will return for season 5 of RHOSLC, Linda said: “What do YOU think? It’s hard to say. I can’t imagine them letting her go, she single-handedly saved the SLC franchise.”

However, Linda’s relationship with Monica is on shaky ground despite the fact that they reconciled before Christmas.
“It’s not easy. It’s my own fault, though, for putting up with it for 16 years. There were no boundaries in my childhood. How do you learn that stuff if you didn’t grow up with it?” Linda wrote.
“My darling pain-in-the-neck girl is going through her metamorphosis. We mess up. We learn. We purge. We come back bigger, better stronger. She’s really quite funny. I hope she plays her strength,” she said of Monica.
When it comes to their relationship, Linda said: “As for my daughter…of course, I love her. Like all of us at times, she has a lot of adjustments to make…We kissed and made up before Christmas. We have very strong roots. We just need a little space and a lot more respect. It’s a work in progress.”
Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
