Brielle Biermann is not taking sides in her parents Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s messy divorce but she is inadvertently backing up claims her mom has a bad gambling habit!
Kim Zolciak‘s gambling habits are back in the spotlight thanks to an old tweet from her daughter, Brielle Biermann.
In August 2020, Brielle tweeted about one time when her mom, Kim Zolciak, forced her to drive to a casino in North Caroline then made her sit in the car while she gambled until 3 a.m.
At the time, the 20-year-old alleged that her mom made her keep the outing a “secret.”
“One time i was walking out to go to dinner n my mom said get in the car we’re going somewhete [sic] i was like uhhh where? she said shhh secret get in,” Brielle wrote on Twitter.
“2 HOURS LATER we end up at casino in North Carolina:-) i was 20:-) had to stay in the car the whole time:-) we were there til 3 am:-),” Brielle continued.
Since filing for divorce in May, the Bravolebrity‘s estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, has accused her being a gambling addict in numerous court filings.
In one court filing, Kroy requested that the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum undergo psychological evaluation for her alleged “compulsion” to spend “substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance.”
In his filing, the former NFL star attached bank statements and checks showing thousands of dollars in withdraws for gambling.
Kroy also claimed that Kim’s “time is so consumed with online gambling” that she cannot properly care for their four minor children: KJ, 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. The 37-year-old is seeking “the temporary and permanent sole legal and sole physical custody” of his and Kim’s four minor children.
Meanwhile, Brielle Biermann is determined to stay neutral amid her parents ugly divorce.
“Everybody knows that Brielle and Kim’s bond is unbreakable, so it was natural for her to take her mom’s side when they filed for divorce,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “Brielle was upset initially because her mom was upset, so she unfollowed Kroy.”
Despite initially unfollowing Kroy on Instagram, the 26-year-old has had a change of heart and wants to remain neutral.
“After taking some time to take a step back and reevaluate things, Brielle loves her dad, too. Kroy has been there for her in every way and has shown her nothing but love since he came into her life,” the source reveals. “So, Brielle decided to refollow him because she’s not going to take sides in her parents’ separation. She loves them both.”
Both Brielle and her sister, Ariana Biermann, honored Kroy on Father’s Day this past Sunday. Kroy legally adopted Brielle and Ariana shortly after marrying Kim in 2012.
“Happppppy Fathers Day!” Brielle wrote alongside a photo of her with Kroy. Ariana, on the other hand, shared a photo of her and Brielle hugging Kroy with the caption: “Happy father’s day i love you @kroybiermann.”
According to his Instagram, Kroy spent Father’s Day doing outdoor activities with his four youngest children.
