Dorit Kemsley Details Home Invasion; Says ‘I Begged For My Life’ Plus Newly Released Video Footage Shows Robbers Breaking Into Her Encino Home

Dorit Kemsley is getting real about surviving the recent home invasion at her Encino home.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star says she begged for her life when intruders broke into her home two weeks ago.

“They were surprised to see me at home,” Dorit told former RHOBH costar, Teddi Mellencamp, during an interview with Extra on Tuesday, November 9. “When they did, they pushed me to the ground. They said, ‘Who else is in the home?’”

The Beverly Beach designer confessed that the robbers were arguing about murdering her.

“There was someone else who said, ‘Just kill her, just kill her already, just kill her,’ and all I could think of [was], ‘I have to save those babies,’” she recalled before admitting she begged for her life as her children, Jagger, 7, and Phoenix, 5, were asleep in the house at the time of the robbery. “I begged them, I begged for my life, and begged for their [lives].”

When it came to her possessions, Dorit said she didn’t try to save anything.

“I said, ‘I don’t care about any of it, take it all. You can have it all. Please, I’m a mother of babies. Please, they need me. Please don’t hurt me,’” she continued.

Dorit considers herself “lucky” that she’s physically fine. She’s also extremely thankful that her kids slept through the entire home invasion.

However, Dorit has been experiencing major anxiety since the break-in and wonders if she will ever feel safe again.

“The panic attacks are coming … And feeling safe? How am I ever going to feel safe again? How do I protect my children? … I’m going through all of that,” she said.

Thankfully Dorit has been leaning on her RHOBH castmates and notes that they have been “beyond supportive” following the attack. She added that healing from this ordeal is “going to be a process, a long one — that, I know.”

Meanwhile, on Monday, the LAPD released surveillance video of two masked men breaking into Dorit’s home.

The video begins at 10:52 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2021, and shows two masked men breaking a sliding glass door to enter the property. The video then skips ahead and you see one of the robbers exiting the home with a bag full of valuables.
