Nearly a year after their split, The Real Housewives of Miami stars Alexia Echevarria and Todd Nepola have officially finalized their divorce. According to Us Weekly, the couple reached a settlement on March 17, 2025. The divorce settlement, however, is shrouded in confidentiality, with both parties agreeing to keep the details private.
Court documents obtained by Us Weekly indicate that Alexia Echevarria and Todd signed the settlement “freely and voluntarily” with the help of legal counsel, but they chose to keep the specifics of the agreement “confidential.”
It had been previously reported that the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place, signed less than a week before their wedding, ensuring that both parties were protected in the event of a separation. Todd filed for divorce in 2024, citing that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” after just two years of marriage.
In response to Todd’s filing, Alexia took to Instagram Stories, expressing her heartbreak over the situation. She wrote, “I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage. I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time.”
Despite their split, Alexia and Todd have remained in contact, and their relationship appears to have remained complicated. When asked if they had reconnected physically, Alexia was candid on iHeartRadio’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast, admitting, “Yes, of course. We’ve done it all. We love each other. We’re super into each other.”
This wasn’t Alexia’s first marriage. She was married to Pedro Rosello from 1992 to 1996 and they share two sons, Frankie and Peter. She later married Herman Echevarria in 2004, but they divorced in 2015. Tragically, Herman passed away from a heart attack in 2016.
In recent months, Alexia and Todd have been seen together, sparking rumors of a possible reconciliation. However, it seems clear that the two weren’t meant to be.
