Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Melissa Gorga has had tons of controversy regarding her advice book, Love Italian Style. From insinuating rape is okay, to saying the only key to a good marriage is sex, Melissa has been getting tons of hate but she actually reveals she wanted controversy regarding her book even comparing the situation to Miley Cyrus.
Melissa had a message for the “haters” telling VH1 buzz, “I think in a way things were taken out of context. The book is about putting your marriage and husband first. It’s about loyalty, it’s about respect and I think if you watch the show you see that Joe and I always have each others back. The controversy about the whole pule her hair or take it is a give in take. It’s just about trying new things in the bedroom. It’s a fun read with a lot of fun stories.”
When asked whether she would change the wordings to avoid the controversy, Melissa says, “No!” Adding that it’s been giving her book sales admitting she wanted book controversy to get people talking comparing herself to A-lister Miley Cyrus who say says wanted controversy and her plan worked.
It was reported yesterday that her sales are actually bombing but it’s expected that Melissa would say otherwise. The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s slump in ratings continues, even with the normally highly-anticipated reunions! The finale dropped in viewers this season compared to last year, making it RHONJ’s lowest rated finale ever, and the reunion which aired its first part on Sunday did no better.
Last year’s RHONJ season premiered its first part to 3,493,000. Great numbers! This year however, it lost over a million viewers premiering to an audience of 2,491,000 according to BravoRatings.com.
There is still a second part and nothing exciting seems to be left for that besides discussing Teresa’s indictment, which we’ve already seen as its own WWHL special.

On last night’s Real Housewives of Miami, Lisa jumped to Lea’s defense after Marysol called her out and accused her of not reaching out to Mama Elsa. Lea said she had a special bond with Mama Elsa from years past and was hurt that Marysol would accuse her of not sending her flowers.
When Lisa called out Marysol, Marysol walked away telling Lisa not to butt in because she had just met the group. Ana then told Lisa that she was defending just for the sake of defending. Ana made a comment after Lisa failed to use her own vocabulary, asking her if was “hooked on phonics” and Lisa then called Ana condescending in her interview.
The beef moved to Twitter where Ana’s supporters rallied behind her and began putting down Lisa! Ana retweeted some of the comments which Lisa got hurt by. Lisa responded and said:

Ana also tweeted things about Lenny and alluded to them being swingers! In the end, she regretted engaging and told a follower:

Ana summarized things telling her followers that the issue is Lisa’s constant mention of “the Cubans” and calling them a gang.

Things did get crazy for a minute though! Poor Twitter, the unsung “friend of the Housewives” on all these shows…It’s rough for me to side with anyone because I like both ladies, but I’m going to say both came out bad! Ana is just above the cattiness of Real Housewives and I think Lisa really should not have butted into this argument.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has been busy promoting her book, Love Italian Style but it looks like despite the promotion, the book is not selling many copies!
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Love Italian Style is ranked #3,136 on Amazon.com and has almost all bad reviews with a rating of 2 stars or less. That’s not all. The book is bombing in sales probably due to the reviews and controversy surrounding it Check out readers complaints below
One things certain and that is that Melissa failed to get on the New Yorks bestseller list. Not like I’m surprised or anything.
Real Housewives of Miami star Lea Black has been on the show for three seasons, but it was hard to get her to sign up for the show, as she now admits!
Lea speaks to Celebuzz and admits that she referred about 10 names to RHOM producers but she did not want to be on the show. She then agreed to have them film a scene at her house and once they saw her in action, they convinced her to join the show.
“The night before [taping began] I basically said, ‘I’m not going to do the show.’ I chickened out,” reveals Lea. Producers then let her know, “Well, if you don’t do the show, another one of the girls isn’t going to do it because she doesn’t have any connection to any other girl on the show.”
Lea continues, “That was one of the main reasons [I agreed] to do Real Housewives, because she really needed it.” She then took the opportunity as a platform to promote her charity and skin care line!
We know Adriana was Lea’s friend since season one. Do you think Lea is taking a dig at Adriana yet again by bringing up how she helped her out. First it was giving her money, now she is taking credit for keeping her on RHOM!
Thoughts on what Lea revealed about RHOM’s casting?
A judge dropped charges last month after Johnny “The Greek” Karagiorgis pursued legal action against Chris and Jacqueline Laurita and Joe Gorga. Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past few months, you know that Johnny was beat by Joe, Chris and Jac at the Posche 2 opening.
The new lawsuit filed October 2 has seven defendants according to files obtained by Us Weekly, including: Chris Laurita, Jacqueline Laurita, Joe Gorga, Sirens (RHONJ production company), Bravo and Moxie Salon.
“In the lawsuit, filed in Hackensack, N.J., on Oct. 2, Karagiorgis claims that Bravo producers conspired with the Housewives and their husbands to confront him in order to increase the show’s ratings,” reports the magazine.
Johnny and Penny are seeking compensation for punitive damages and attorney fees on the basis that they “have suffered but are not limited to bruising, scarring, disfigurement, fractured bones, facial lacerations, mental anguish, psychological health problems, physical discomfort, pain and suffering, economic losses, and shame and embarrassment.”

This week’s Real Housewives of Miami continues to be a rehash of the same old sh*t. We begin with Joanna emasculating her soon-to-be husband on national TV. She continues to complain that he’s such a girl and won’t have enough sex with her. While drunk with Lisa, Lisa plays sex therapist to the couple and demonstrates what to do. It’s hilarious, but really, can we get another storyline already?
This episode, Romain also opens up about his past as a child. He reveals his parents split when he was just an infant. He lived with his dad, without a mother figure, and his step mom was abusive to both him and his brother. Romain reveals to the sex therapist that this is why he enjoys Joanna more when she’s feminine and not some aggressive horn ball.
Marysol and Alexia have decided that Adriana is a nutbag. Not that they didn’t have enough material to determine this already, but now Adriana is demanding that her wedding guests change twice. They’ll be in white for the ceremony and in Gatsby costumes for the reception. Weren’t the past few episodes already about this?
They take Adriana for a vitamin IV to keep her looking fresh and tell her she’s being a moron asking people to change, and sending out EVITES for her glamorous wedding. Included in her evite is a mood board so people know what to dress like. Adriana says it’s her wedding and she will do as she pleases, so bye.
Alexia is having a birthday party and tells Lea that Marysol is upset with her for not asking about Mama Elsa. a) This isn’t even the first time Marysol will run into Lea, so why is this being brought now? b) If Marysol already can’t stand Lea and vice-versa, why does she give two shits whether Lea reached out or not? You guys, this show went downhill really fast.
Lea whips out her phone to show Alexia that she has in fact reached out, even sent out a card and flowers, and that Marysol is lying. Alexia, not knowing what to believe, warns her that Marysol will be at her birthday party, and sure enough, as soon as Lea and Marysol spot each other, a producer-demanded fight happens.
But before that, there is another stupid, petty confrontation! Now that Lisa is officially in Joanna’s wedding as well, Adriana has a problem with that. Am I getting too old for Real Housewives? Because this is literally aggravating. Also, weren’t Adriana and Joanna made up last week? I CAN’T KEEP UP WITH THESE WOMEN.
Back to Marysol and Lea, Marysol calls Lea terrible names for not caring about Mama Elsa. Lea says she did not even know that Elsa had a stroke and that she DID send her flowers and a card after she learned something was wrong with her health. Marysol says this is all a lie. Lea disengages and walks away.
Lisa follows Lea who is crying because she loves Elsa and now she feels Elsa is being told lies about how much of an asshole she is. Marysol catches up with them and continues the fight. Lisa then comes to Lea’s defense (getting Birkins for people will secure friends for life) and Marysol tells her it’s none of her business and that this stems from years past before Lisa was a Housewife. Marysol walks off but Ana has words with Lisa, snarking her and asking if she’s hooked on phonics! Hilarious.
Alright, so here’s my take. I love RHOM. I love that they have the edge of spicy Latinas and the sexiness of Miami to work with, but this show is pretty much over. Out of curiosity I looked up ratings and this is what I saw:
No bueno. The stories are not captivating, and some of these girls are making me go back to Team Lea, which is like the lesser of the evils. Hopefully the wedding episodes coming up will make it a little more bearable! Let’s discuss tonight’s episode, though. What did you think of all of tonight’s shenanigans?!

This past weekend, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice celebrated her daughter Gabriella’s ninth birthday! Melissa Gorga stated yesterday that she and Teresa Giudice are doing great and she might be telling the truth because she actually attended her God daughter’s birthday! Teresa celebrated Gabriella’s birthday at Space Odyssey and although Melissa was a no show to Audriana’s birthday, she did attend her God daughter Gabriella’s birthday party!

Noticeably absent was Melissa’s hubby Joe Gorga which was a bit shocking considering he goes everywhere that Melissa goes. And it’s obvious Men were there being that Joe Giudice and his brother attended. It’s honestly refreshing to see Melissa and Teresa all smiles. I hope they realize the BS is not worth it and viewers would much rather see them getting along! Are you surprised Melissa Gorga showed up to the birthday party?
