Big Ang from Mob Wives sadly has been hospitalized due to her battle with lung and brain cancer. It has been reported that her treatments have not been working; however Angela has a fighting spirit and refuses to give in!
In order to pay for alternative treatment, it was decided to go towards the quickest way to make money in a short time: GoFundMe! The page was opened by Angela’s sister with a goal of raising $25,000 for treatment from alternative cures and in just two days has far exceeded this goal raising $35,000 to date!
Angela’s sister Janine Detore spoke out saying:
“My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer. Chemotherapy was started January 5th. On January 26th the doctor reviewed her CT scan and informed us that the treatment was not working, and in fact one tumor grew larger and the other tumors had no change.”
Detore continued, “We were advised that she would start immunotherapy the following week. Well here we are at the emergency room waiting to see why her breathing is labored and the amount of pain she is having is by far more than she could handle. So I suggested cannabis oil as an alternative. This is why I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free. Angela cannot function to work anymore.”
Janine has also taken to social media reminding people that she is more than ‘Big Ang’ that fans are use to seeing on their TV:
“Many of you know her as “Big Ang” of Mob Wives, but we know her as Angela our sister , mother, grandmother , aunt , cousin or just a friend. Angela is the 5th of 7 children mother of 2, grandmother of 6 and the friend of many.”
