Porsha Williams has confirmed her engagement after sparking engagement rumors on Mother’s Day.
On Sunday, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted a photo of her, ex Dennis McKinley, and Simon Guobadia on Instagram. In the picture, Porsha can be seen with a ring on THAT finger. Initially, many fans believed that Porsha and Dennis may have rekindled their relationship and gotten re-engaged.
However, that’s NOT the case at all.
Fast forward to Monday when Porsha confirmed that she’s engaged to Simon, who is the ex-husband of RHOA “friend of the housewives” Falynn Guobadia.
“Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night,” Porsha captioned a selfie of her and Simon. “Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
The long-time reality TV star then insisted she had “NOTHING” to do with Simon’s split with ex-wife Falynn. Simon filed for divorce from Falynn in January, months before he started seeing Porsha.
“Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled,” Porsha continued. “Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.”

Simon and Falynn’s divorce has not been finalized but they have reportedly reached a divorce settlement per PEOPLE.
The former couple didn’t announce their split publicly until April 22.
“After two years of marriage and 5 years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways,” she wrote. “We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children. This mutual decision was not made lightly, and despite our current willingness to be transparent, we only ask our friends and supporters to be respectful of our privacy as our family gets through this very difficult period.”
“I would like to say thank you to all of my supporters who have shown a great deal of love to our family,” the 31-year-old added. “You all do not go unnoticed.”
After the 39-year-old of Bravoleb confirmed their engagement, Simon posted a photo of Porsha’s massive Emerald cut engagement ring on his Instagram.
Simon And Falynn’S Divorce
“You affirm my [belief] that finding love is possible for everyone who genuinely seeks one,” he wrote. “Getting married again was never a question in my mind, but when. Did not expect to be blessed with a mate so soon.”
“What we have is what we wish every single one of you out there – happiness. So when I asked…she said yes. That is ALL that mattered,” he concluded.
