RHOP star Mia Thornton goes Instagram official with her new boyfriend and hints at 2024 wedding date — see the picture!
Mia Thornton has some big plans in the works for 2024 and it may involve walking down the aisle.
On Sunday, December 31, the RHOP star went Instagram official with her new boyfriend when she shared a snap of them engaging in a loving embrace.
In the caption of her Instagram post, the 39-year old hinted that a wedding may be in the works in 2024, writing, “4.4.4.” which stands for April 4, 2024.
“Let’s Go!” Mia Thornton said, adding a “2024” hashtag in the caption.
The identity of the RHOP star’s new man has yet to be revealed but know Mia she will be unveil him in bold way that will surely make a splash.
Mia’s latest Instagram post comes a month after she was spotted rocking an engagement ring at BravoCon in November.
At the time the Real Housewives of Potomac star skirted around questions about being engaged but teased that she has someone “special” in her life.
“So yes, we are separated. Legally separated and you know, it’s gonna take time to get a divorce, but there is someone special that’s on the horizon,” Mia told Us Weekly at BravoCon.
The reporter, who noticed that the RHOP star was wearing an engagement ring, then asked: “So, there is someone special. Are you engaged?”
Mia replied: “I am committed. I’m not available. So don’t come in my DMs, all right.“
Back in September, Mia announced her separation from husband Gordon Thornton after 11 years of marriage.
“Like all marriages, ours has had its ups and downs,” the 39-year-old Bravo star told PEOPLE in September. “At this time, Gordon and I are separated, but my family is my number one priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we are okay.”
“We ask that you respect our privacy and give us the time and space to figure things out,” she added.
Mia and Gordon, 70, have been married since March 2012. They share two children: son Jeremiah Carter, 8, and daughter Juliana, 6. Both Mia and Gordon also each have one child from their previous relationships.
The Bravo couple’s marital woes are set to play out on season 8 of RHOP, which is currently airing on Bravo.
After the news of Mia and Gordon’s split became public, Gordon came out swinging against his estranged wife.
Gordon dubbed the RHOP star a cheating gold digger while speaking with TMZ.
The 70-year-old explained that due to his prostate cancer struggle, he gave Mia permission to step outside their marriage to “satisfy her needs” as long as she kept it private and kept the kids out of it.
However, Gordon alleged, “[Mia] still chooses to sneak around, chooses to lie, chooses to continually change her story about what’s going on and why she’s leaving me and this, that, and the other – actually NOT telling me why.”
“Mia married me for my money and for the life she thought I could provide,” he continued. “I absolutely believe her leaving me now is tied to the fact that I don’t have access to assets and funds unlimited at this point in time. This guy that she’s seeing has access to funds, and I think she’s leaving me for that reason.”
The RHOP husband said that he was informed “that they [Mia and her new boo] are going to buy a house together and doing businesses together and other kinds of things together, which tells me [the] interest is based on [the] monetary gain from the relationship.”
“I absolutely believe that she’s leaving me because she sees an upgrade.”
RHOP airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
