Allie Eklund is sharing her side of the skincare drama involving Kacie Adkison and Steven McBee Jr.

During Season 3 of McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, viewers watched tension build after Steven suggested Allie get involved in Kacie’s beef tallow skincare business — and receive a percentage of the profits.

But according to Allie, that was never something she asked for.

“What happened in real life, off camera, was I was asked to be a part of the tallow business,” Allie told Us Weekly, referring to Kacie’s skincare company under the McBee Farms umbrella.

Allie said she was upfront with both Kacie and Steven about how busy she was when they first approached her for marketing help in the fall of 2025.

“I had a lot going on business wise on my own with my family’s businesses and my personal businesses that I’ve been involved in for a decade,” Allie said.

Allie, who helped her family’s Triple E farm launch Triple E Mercantile, claimed she told them she was willing to help for free in whatever way she could.

“I communicated to them that I would love to help for free in whatever capacity that I can. They needed more help, though,” she explained.

According to Allie, she did not know Steven was having conversations about her potentially getting a percentage of Kacie’s business.

“Stephen was having conversations about me getting a percentage before ever speaking with me about that,” Allie claimed. “That was the first I had heard of it when they brought that to my attention, I had no idea he was asking for that behind closed doors.”

Allie insisted she never asked for a cut of the company.

“I never asked for that, and I actually ultimately declined that percentage because I didn’t feel like I had the capacity to take on another business venture at the moment,” she said.

Allie said that even after declining a percentage, she told Kacie and Steven she would still help “for free with what I could.”

The comments come as viewers are watching the beginning of Allie and Steven’s relationship play out on McBee Dynasty, even though the two already publicly split in April. Steven accused Allie of cheating on him at Stagecoach Music Festival, which she denied.

On the Monday, July 13 episode of McBee Dynasty, Kacie and Allie sat down to discuss the skincare business and the tension surrounding Steven’s involvement.

“He did tell me that the tallow business is mine,” Kacie told Allie during the episode. “I haven’t gotten paid yet. I have put in around $12,000 into the business. I’ve been working on it five days a week.”

Allie told Kacie she thought the tallow business could “save the farm” and said she would be happy to help with marketing.

Steven later told Allie that he originally had the idea to use beef tallow in skincare in 2023, but claimed his ex-girlfriend Calah Jackson did not want to run it, so he approached Kacie.

“She’s so busy being a mom, we’re 300 orders behind,” Steven said on the episode. “If we’re going to scale this, it needs to be a team effort.”

During a later conversation with Kacie, Steven said he initially told her she could keep 100 percent of the profits because he thought it would be a small side project. But after seeing the potential growth of the company, he changed his mind.

“I told you at the beginning, you keep 100 percent of the profits. I thought it was going to be a little side project that you could work on. It’s not,” Steven said. “It’s a monster that we’re sitting on if we do it right.”

Steven then suggested a new breakdown where Kacie would get 40 percent, McBee Farms would get 40 percent and Allie would receive 20 percent of the profits if she helped on the backend.

Kacie was not ready to agree to anything before speaking with her fiancé, Cole McBee, who fully backed her.

Allie told Us Weekly that once she learned Steven had been negotiating for her behind closed doors, she had an “in-depth business conversation” with both Steven and Kacie.

“I didn’t feel like I could, you know, bring the value that I wanted to at that time, and I ultimately chose to not get involved in the business,” Allie said. “But I wanted to support them as a friend wherever I could.”

Allie also claimed she and Kacie discussed possibly doing a tallow collection together to see how sales went, but her breakup with Steven ended that possibility.

“Obviously, since breaking up, we didn’t end up doing that. And I know a big concern of hers was what if you break up and you have this percentage?” Allie said. “And I communicated that that’s something that should be in an operating agreement. That way, there’s no question around that.”

Despite liking Kacie’s ideas, Allie said she ultimately realized she does business “a little bit different” than the McBees and chose not to get involved.

Kacie is still running the tallow company, according to social media, while Allie is focused on her own ventures, including Triple E Mercantile, an extension of her family’s Triple E Ranch.

“It’s basically bringing Triple E Ranch, my family’s ranch, to life and giving people an in-person experience to come together, build community, and get back to their roots,” Allie said.

She added that her family plans to open the ranch to the public through “Triple E experiences” while continuing to expand their merchandise collection.
