Tia Glover is opening up about the state of her marriage to husband Rob Glover after his secret dating app profiles were exposed on The Real Housewives of Potomac, revealing that things are far from okay at home.
The RHOP star admitted that she is still processing her husband’s betrayal and the public humiliation that followed. And while Rob has expressed remorse, Tia revealed that their four children have also been affected by the scandal.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tia was asked whether she and Rob were still together and if everything was back to normal in their household.
Her response made it clear that the couple has a long way to go.
“For your husband to be on a dating app, clearly everything’s not right at home,” Tia admitted.
“It’s very unright at home,” she continued.
However, despite the damage to their marriage, Tia confirmed that she and Rob are still together and attempting to work through their issues.
“We’re still navigating,” she explained. “I think if it were just us and a cat, navigation would be a lot easier. But we’ve built a family together, we’ve built a life together. So it impacts us all.”
“And so that’s a lot to navigate, and we’re really taking our time to navigate it.”
Tia, who has been married to Rob for 17 years, shares four children with her husband. The couple has been together for more than two decades, making the decision about their future even more complicated.
She explained that the discovery of his dating app activity has forced them to examine deeper issues within their relationship.
“When something like this happens, you do a deep dive. And so we’re cleaning that out, and so I’m very much still in the discovery phase,” Tia shared.
The revelation first came to light during the RHOP Season 11 premiere when Stacey Rusch confronted Tia with information suggesting that Rob had been active on dating apps.
According to Stacey, she had received messages containing photos of a verified dating profile allegedly belonging to Rob.
The profile reportedly featured his real name and presented him as a single man.
Tia appeared blindsided by the information, explaining that she had no idea her husband was using dating apps.
After returning home, she confronted Rob directly.
“I waited until I put the twins down, and I asked him, I said, ‘Are you on dating apps?’” Tia recalled during the season premiere.
“And he paused, and he said, ‘Yeah.’”
The admission devastated Tia, who had believed her marriage was in a good place.
During the following episode, she revealed that Rob confessed he had been using a dating app for approximately a year.
According to Tia, Rob claimed he had been feeling lonely and was looking for attention.
She also revealed that his profile was still active when they discussed the situation, forcing her to ask him to delete it.
While Rob reportedly maintained that he had not physically met anyone or pursued an outside relationship through the app, Tia admitted that she was still trying to determine the full extent of what had happened.
The revelation also created tension between Tia and several of her RHOP costars.
Although Stacey was the one who brought the information to Tia on camera, Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby had also been made aware of the allegations.
Gizelle later explained that she had received information about Rob’s alleged dating profile and shared it with Ashley while attempting to determine whether the account was legitimate.
However, Tia questioned why none of the women had approached her privately before the information became a storyline on the show.
During an appearance on the Gabbing With Gib podcast, Tia suggested that Stacey’s decision to reveal the information on camera was calculated.
“When you see how it was set up, you’ll realize how shiesty this whole thing went down,” Tia claimed.
She also questioned whether Stacey had deliberately waited until filming began to bring the allegations to her attention.
Stacey has defended her actions, maintaining that she believed it was better to address the information in a smaller setting rather than allow Tia to be humiliated in front of the entire group.
But for Tia, the situation left her questioning not only her marriage but also the intentions of the women around her.
During her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tia admitted that she experienced a range of emotions after learning the truth.
“I’ve had all the phases,” she explained.
“I was very shocked, I felt very humiliated, I felt very embarrassed, I felt, did my friend try and sabotage me?”
Despite everything, Tia revealed that Rob has taken responsibility for his behavior and expressed regret over the pain he caused.
“He is embarrassed,” Tia admitted.
“He is remorseful.”
But his actions have affected more than just their marriage.
Tia revealed that Rob also had to address the situation with their children, something she said was particularly difficult for him.
“It wasn’t fun for him having to address that in front of his daughters and his son,” she explained.
“My son had a lot of questions.”
During RHOP, Tia became emotional while discussing how Rob’s actions could influence the way their daughters view relationships.
She expressed concern that her children might interpret their father’s behavior as acceptable or believe that women should simply tolerate being disrespected by their partners.
Her costars Wendy Osefo and Stacey encouraged her to allow Rob to take responsibility for explaining his actions to their children rather than carrying that burden herself.
Now, Tia says those difficult family conversations have become part of their effort to move forward.
“But, you know, it was an opportunity for all of us to grow,” Tia shared.
“And let our children know that we aren’t without faults and we’re going to stumble too.”
Although Tia has confirmed that she and Rob are still living together and sharing a bed, she has stopped short of suggesting that their marriage is completely repaired.
