Kim Zolciak’s son, Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., has reportedly been released from jail and is now back home with his mother.
According to TMZ, sources familiar with the situation say KJ was released within the last several days and is currently living with Kim, who has full-time care of him.
KJ is facing several felony charges connected to an alleged sexual assault involving a schoolmate at a local gym. He was 15 at the time of the alleged incident.
The latest update comes after prosecutors in KJ’s criminal case recently filed emergency documents asking a judge to order forensic interviews with “minor children.”
No additional details about the request were provided.
Forensic interviews are typically conducted by specially trained professionals and can be used to gather information in cases involving minors. TMZ reports that information collected during those interviews could potentially be used in the case.
