Andy Cohen is revealing which Housewife he wanted back for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and according to him, she said no.
While speaking with ET Online, Andy opened up about several Housewives topics, including which current Housewife he still loves watching and which former Housewife Bravo tried to bring back for a cameo.
When asked about a Housewife he loves having on the show, Andy immediately named Mary Cosby.
“Mary, she’s just so funny,” Andy said.
Mary has become one of the most unique personalities in the Housewives universe. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has always had a completely different energy from the rest of the cast, often delivering off-the-cuff reactions, unexpected one-liners and moments that fans either find shocking or hilarious.
But the juicier moment came when Andy was asked about one Housewife he wanted to get back but who turned the opportunity down.
Andy revealed that Bravo wanted Lisa Vanderpump to make an appearance on Ultimate Girls Trip.
“Well we wanted Lisa Vanderpump to come back on Ultimate Girls Trip just to make an appearance and she said no,” Andy said.
When asked why Lisa turned it down, Andy made it clear he was only guessing. But his answer still had fans talking.
“I think it’s cause she can’t stand Kyle and Dorit but that’s just me guessing,” Andy said.
Lisa’s relationship with Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley has been a long-running topic for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans.
Lisa left RHOBH after Season 9 following the infamous “Puppygate” scandal, which caused her friendship with Kyle to fully implode. Kyle confronted Lisa at Villa Rosa over allegations that Lisa leaked a story about Dorit’s dog to the press, something Lisa denied. The argument ended with Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, telling Kyle, “Goodbye, Kyle,” which became one of the most quoted moments in Beverly Hills history.
Lisa ultimately skipped the Season 9 reunion and has not returned to RHOBH since.
Her tension with Dorit also traces back to Puppygate, which centered around Dorit adopting a dog from Vanderpump Dogs and later giving the dog to another family before it ended up at a shelter. Lisa denied leaking the story, but the fallout fractured the cast and marked the end of her run on the show.
