Carole Radziwill is defending herself after Sai De Silva questions her about Jeffrey Epstein in the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

The trailer for RHONY Season 16 dropped on Tuesday, and it teases major tension between Carole and Sai after Carole’s past connection to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell becomes a topic of conversation.
In the trailer, Carole is approached by someone on the street who mentions her name appearing in the Epstein Files.
Carole has previously acknowledged that she knew Epstein and Maxwell years ago, but she has denied knowing anything about Epstein’s crimes at the time.

The trailer then cuts to Sai asking Carole if she ever went to Little Saint James, Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean.
Carole says she did not.
She then fires back at Sai, clearly offended by the line of questioning.
“You think I’m part of an international sex trafficking ring?” Carole asks.
The moment appears to be one of the biggest conflicts of the upcoming season, with sources previously claiming Carole and Sai had tension throughout filming because of the Epstein-related questions.
Sai also seemingly hinted at the drama in a cryptic Instagram post after filming wrapped.
Carole’s return to RHONY has already been getting major attention. Although she is only appearing as a “friend of” the cast, sources claim producers are thrilled with her and that she appears in every episode of the season.
Carole was reportedly offered a full-time role but politely declined.
The drama is especially notable because Carole was one of the most talked-about RHONY stars during her original run on the show. Her return brings an old-school Housewives energy to the rebooted cast, and based on the trailer, she is not afraid to defend herself when questioned.
Sai, meanwhile, seems willing to ask the uncomfortable questions — even if it leads to major tension with Carole.
RHONY Season 16 premieres Tuesday, September 8, and if the trailer is any indication, Carole and Sai’s feud may be one of the season’s biggest storylines.
For now, Carole is making one thing clear: she is strongly denying any involvement in Epstein’s crimes and does not appreciate Sai’s questions implying otherwise.
