Annemarie Wiley’s husband, Marcellus Wiley, was arrested over Fourth of July weekend following an alleged domestic violence incident in Florida.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum called police on Saturday while in Orlando and reported an alleged battery involving her husband. Annemarie reportedly told officers she was scared of Marcellus and requested that the retired NFL player be removed from their World Marriott room.
Annemarie also allegedly claimed that Marcellus had threatened to kill her before the arrest. According to the affidavit, she told police that the day before, Marcellus “used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek” in front of their 7-year-old daughter.
The former RHOBH star also alleged that Marcellus had an “unreported history of violence towards her in the past.” Marcellus denied that allegation, according to the report.
Per TMZ, Marcellus showed authorities cordial text messages between himself and Annemarie, but he was ultimately taken into custody on a domestic battery charge. Jail records viewed by multiple outlets show Marcellus was booked into Orange County Jail on July 4.
The couple was reportedly in Orlando with their three children for a basketball tournament at the time of the alleged incident.
Marcellus was being held without bond in Orange County Jail following the arrest.
Annemarie also reportedly told police that she plans to divorce Marcellus.
Annemarie joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during Season 13 but exited after one season. Marcellus, a former NFL defensive end and longtime sports broadcaster, appeared on the show alongside her.
The arrest comes after Marcellus recently faced separate allegations of sexual assault from several women, which he has denied. In a May episode of his podcast, Marcellus denied the allegations and claimed people were trying to “leverage lies for personal gain.”
Annemarie and Marcellus married in 2014 and share three children together. Marcellus is also father to a daughter from a previous relationship.
As of now, the domestic battery case remains ongoing, and Marcellus has not publicly commented on the latest allegations.
