Andy Cohen believes Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s reconciliation is the real deal.

After years of bitter family drama, explosive reunions and one of the most divided chapters in Real Housewives of New Jersey history, Teresa and Melissa are finally in a better place. And according to Andy, this time feels different.
News of Teresa and Melissa’s reconciliation first surfaced last November. Since then, it has been revealed that RHONJ fans will get to see their new dynamic play out on the upcoming Season 15, with both women returning to the franchise.
Andy, who serves as an executive producer on the Real Housewives franchise, recently spoke to Variety and explained why Bravo waited before filming anything about Teresa and Melissa’s repaired relationship.
According to Andy, production did not want to immediately jump on the reconciliation because viewers have seen Teresa, Melissa and Joe Gorga make up before, only for things to fall apart again.
“They actually have [reconciled], and I do believe it. You know, this happened months ago, and we decided not to film anything because, frankly, we’ve seen Melissa — and we’ve seen Joe and Teresa — make up before. We were like, ‘Great, if you’re going to do this, go do it!’ And they lived in it for many months,” Andy said.
Andy said what really convinced him that the reconciliation was genuine was a conversation he had with Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice at BravoCon 2025.
“I remember talking to Gia at BravoCon [2025], and she looked in my eye, and she was telling me things that they had been doing as a family, and she was emotional about having her uncle back and her cousins back. And I was like, ‘OK, good. This is real.’”

If Teresa and Melissa had only recently made peace on camera, fans may have questioned whether it was being done for the show. But according to Andy, the family had already been spending time together before production decided it was worth capturing.
Season 15 of RHONJ is expected to mark a new chapter for the franchise after years of toxicity and divided alliances. With Teresa and Melissa both back and reportedly speaking again, the show may finally be moving away from the family war that dominated so much of the series.
Of course, RHONJ fans know that peace in Jersey can be fragile.
But for now, Andy seems convinced that Teresa and Melissa are not just pretending for the cameras.
