The drama between Dorit Kemsley and estranged husband PK Kemsley just took another messy turn and this time, their multimillion dollar mansion is at the center of it all.
According to new court filings obtained by PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is accusing PK of using the threat of foreclosure on their Encino home as a “tactic” in their bitter divorce battle.
The former couple’s California property is reportedly tied to nearly $6 million in missed mortgage payments, but Dorit’s legal team claims PK is exaggerating the urgency of the situation.
In the filing, Dorit’s attorney argued “there is no real risk of foreclosure” and claimed PK “has ample ability to honor his financial obligations, including making timely payment of the mortgages.”
PK, however, is pushing for an immediate court ordered sale of the home. In previous filings obtained by PEOPLE, he claimed he repeatedly tried to get Dorit to cooperate with lenders and realtors in order to sell the property, but alleged she refused.
Now Dorit is firing back hard.
Her legal team reportedly called PK’s request to force the sale “baseless” and warned that if he continues pursuing it, she plans to “inform the court of PK’s unwarranted litigation tactics, and she will seek relief and sanctions associated therewith.”
Yikes.
PK reportedly believes selling the home quickly is the only way to preserve whatever equity remains in the property. He also proposed placing any profits from the sale into a joint blocked account.
But Dorit’s side claims the entire foreclosure narrative is part of what they describe as PK’s “starve out strategy” and financial “gamesmanship.”
According to the filing, Dorit is not against selling the house. She simply wants “financial guardrails and additional protections against PK’s ongoing financial tricks.”
The RHOBH star is also asking for updated financial records from PK to verify his claims of financial hardship, while PK reportedly wants the court to move forward without additional financial discovery.
The legal battle comes just weeks after another explosive claim surfaced in the divorce.
Earlier filings obtained by PEOPLE alleged Dorit spent close to $1 million on designer fashion and luxury purchases while mortgage payments were allegedly going unpaid.
From December 2024 through March 2025, PK claimed Dorit spent $995,270 on “wardrobe related expenses,” including approximately $69,000 at Louis Vuitton, another $69,000 at Chanel, $38,000 at Hermes, and $22,000 at Saint Honore.
Dorit filed for divorce in April 2025, citing “irreconcilable differences” after nearly a decade of marriage. She requested sole legal and physical custody of their two children, Jagger, 12, and Phoenix, 10, along with spousal support.
One day before the divorce filing, PK was photographed kissing and holding hands with former Amazing Race contestant Shana Wall during a night out in Los Angeles, sparking headlines across the Bravo world.
PK later responded to Dorit’s filing by requesting joint custody of their children.
At this point, the RHOBH split is shaping up to be one of the messiest Bravo divorces in recent memory and it does not look like either side plans to back down anytime soon.
