Amanda Stanton is revealing she almost joined The Real Housewives of Orange County — but ultimately decided it wasn’t the right move.

During an appearance on the Between Us Moms podcast, the Bachelor alum shared that she was asked to join the Bravo series “years ago.”
At the time, she said she was open to the idea.
“When the girls were younger, I was like, maybe I would be open to doing something like that,” Amanda explained.
But her perspective has changed as her daughters have gotten older.

“Now that they’re in these teenage years, they’re so sensitive, and I don’t want to embarrass them,” she said.
Amanda admitted that protecting her kids’ privacy has become a bigger priority, even on social media.
“So I feel like now, more than ever, I don’t even share — I still share a lot on social media — but I don’t share as much about their personal lives or certain things.”
She added, “Because this age is tough. So, it’s a hard no.”
Interestingly, Amanda also revealed that despite nearly joining the franchise, she’s never actually watched any of the Real Housewives shows.
However, she does plan to tune in for the upcoming Real Housewives of Rhode Island — for one specific reason.
She’ll be watching to support her former Bachelor in Paradise castmate Ashley Iaconetti, who is set to appear on the show.
“I’m so excited for that,” Amanda said. “That’s gonna be good. She is great TV.”
Amanda first rose to fame on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor in 2016 before appearing on Bachelor in Paradise.
She later married her husband, Michael Fogel, in 2022.
While fans may never see her holding an orange, Amanda made it clear, at least for now, Housewives just isn’t the right fit for her life.
