Lisa Rinna believes the Real Housewives franchise could eventually face the same kind of documentary spotlight that recently landed on America’s Next Top Model.

Following the release of Netflix’s documentary Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model, which sparked widespread discussion online, many reality TV fans have started wondering what show might be next for a behind-the-scenes exposé.
According to Rinna, the Housewives universe could very well be part of that conversation someday.
During a March 2026 appearance on Bustle’s podcast One Nightstand, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared her thoughts on the idea of a future documentary digging into the long-running Bravo franchise.
“I think with Tyra [Banks] coming out with the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ documentary, I think in a certain amount of time, something like that will come out around the Housewives,” Rinna said.

Rinna also hinted that there would likely be plenty of stories worth telling if such a project ever materialized.
“My husband [Harry Hamlin] always says this, ‘The postman always rings twice,’” she explained. “You can’t ever get away with anything, in other words.”
Still, when it comes to whether she would personally participate in a tell-all documentary about the franchise, Rinna isn’t completely sure.
“I don’t know about that. I don’t know if I would do that, but I think it’ll happen down the line,” she admitted. “I think it’ll happen with everything, especially in reality television.”
Rinna spent eight seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills before announcing her departure in 2023. During her time on the show, she became one of the franchise’s most talked-about figures, known for stirring drama and pushing difficult conversations into the spotlight.
While she’s open to the idea that a documentary could eventually examine the reality TV machine behind the Housewives empire, Rinna says leaving the show when she did ultimately benefited her family.
Her exit, she suggested, was something of a “saving grace” for her household, including her daughters Amelia Gray Hamlin and Delilah Belle Hamlin.
For now, a Real Housewives exposé remains purely hypothetical. But if Rinna’s prediction proves correct, the franchise that helped define reality television could someday have its own behind-the-scenes reckoning.
