Larsa Pippen is not holding back when it comes to reflecting on her past relationships especially one with a former NBA coach who she describes as “immature” and “full of issues.”

The reality star and basketball aficionado recently pulled back the curtain on this chapter of her love life during an episode of Angela Lee’s “Lip Service” podcast revealing just how that romance fizzled out before she found happiness with her current boyfriend.
The coach who remains unnamed was 47 years old at the time but according to Larsa, “he was so immature.” She did not mince words telling listeners “When I broke up with him, I said to him ‘There’s a reason I dated you.’ And he was like ‘Why?’ And I was like ‘Just to prove that age is nothing but a number, I’ll never date anyone like you again.’”
Clearly the relationship was complicated by his fear of commitment. Larsa described how he would shower her with lavish gifts after she told him to stop calling a classic lovebombing tactic she was not having. “At 47 years old if you don’t know what you want, you’ve got issues,” she said bluntly. Despite their shared passion for basketball which “would have been great” it simply was not the relationship she had hoped for.
This past romance came after her very public split from Marcus Jordan son of basketball legend Michael Jordan. Larsa and Marcus made their relationship Instagram official in January 2023 and even featured together on her reality show Real Housewives of Miami. But just a month later they called it quits amid “tension” according to sources.
Now Larsa’s love life is looking brighter. Since spring she has been dating former basketball player Jeff Coby and things seem to be moving quickly. Insider reports say the couple is “on a good path” even discussing engagement rings.
Larsa could not help but gush about Jeff’s family values and kindness in a recent interview with People magazine. “The other day I FaceTimed him when he was at his parents’ house and he was teaching his niece how to multiply and I thought ‘That is so sweet,’” she shared. “That’s why this is my guy because he’s just so family-oriented and just so kind and I just feel like he’s my guy. He just has all the qualities that I really love.”

At first Larsa kept their relationship under wraps understandable after a high-profile breakup. “I didn’t want to share it with the world,” she admitted. But now she is more open about their connection saying “We get along really well we basically do everything together,” adding that their early days were spent doing “very normal things” away from the public eye.

With Larsa’s past lessons learned and her heart open it seems she has found a winning team in Jeff Coby a love story that is as real as her basketball roots.
