Wedding season just got a little more exciting—Alexis Bellino, best known for her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County, is preparing to tie the knot with fiancé John Janssen in what promises to be a wedding full of surprises and personal touches.
The reality star, who got engaged to John in August 2024, recently gave fans a glimpse of the wedding planning process on her Instagram Story. She shared a snap of their elegant gold-and-white “save the date” card, nestled against a bouquet of soft pink tulips. While the card kept details like the date and location under wraps, Alexis did tease that things are “getting real.”
A Non-Traditional Celebration
Alexis has been clear that she’s not walking down a cookie-cutter aisle. In fact, she’s going completely off-script for this wedding. She revealed to People in April that she and John are planning a “very unconventional” ceremony with no bridesmaids or groomsmen. Both having been married before, the couple is opting for something that better reflects who they are now.
In a previous chat with BravoTV.com, Alexis hinted at some creative wedding-day elements: “We’re not doing a typical wedding… we have a couple [of] creative ideas.”
Despite the non-traditional approach, it’s shaping up to be a pretty full house. The guest list already sits at around 80—mostly made up of close friends and family—and Alexis expects they may creep toward the 100 mark.
The Dress: Bold, Unique, and Perfectly “Her”
While Alexis Bellino is keeping most of the day’s details under wraps, she has revealed one tantalizing tidbit: the dress. Describing it as “unconventional, head to toe,” she shared that the gown fully embodies the spirit of the wedding. According to Alexis, it’s so stunning it might just leave John speechless: “He’s going to die when he sees me.”
Even her friends—like fellow RHOC alum Jo De La Rosa—were surprised when they saw her in the gown. “They also had seen my vision and what I chose is a little bit of my vision, but it is me, and it is exactly perfect for my wedding,” she said.
A Summer 2025 Affair
While the exact wedding date hasn’t been revealed, Alexis has confirmed it will happen in the summer of 2025. With save-the-dates already going out, the countdown is officially on.
