Dorinda Medley is setting the record straight after Melissa Gorga publicly named her as a celebrity who failed to thank her for sending a box of her famous sprinkle cookies.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum wasted no time responding to Melissa’s comments from Bravo Fan Fest, claiming that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star left out an important detail about what actually happened with the shipment.
During a panel at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, Melissa was asked about her growing cookie business, Let’s Sprinkle by MG, and whether any celebrities had failed to acknowledge receiving a box.
Moderator Daryn Carp put Melissa on the spot with a question about the famous faces she had sent her products to.
“You sent your sprinkle cookies to many celebrities … Name someone you sent them to that didn’t thank you,” Daryn asked.
Melissa didn’t hesitate to name Dorinda.
“I actually know this answer: Dorinda,” Melissa said with a laugh.
However, Melissa quickly clarified that she had no hard feelings toward the former RHONY star.
“I love Dorinda. But she thanked me later because I sent her a new box. Maybe she didn’t get them,” Melissa explained.
While Melissa appeared to be sharing the story lightheartedly, Dorinda wasn’t about to let her version of events go unchallenged.
After a clip of the exchange surfaced on TikTok on October 27, Dorinda entered the comments section to explain what she claimed really happened.
“If you remember correctly you didn’t send them to me so I contacted you and you sent them to the right address and did a video,” Dorinda fired back.
According to Dorinda, the issue wasn’t that she had received Melissa’s cookies and failed to acknowledge the gesture. Instead, she claimed the original shipment never made it to her.
Dorinda’s response suggests that she personally reached out to Melissa to correct the delivery issue, after which another box was sent to the proper address.
She also pointed out that she had made a video after receiving the cookies, directly contradicting any suggestion that she had ignored Melissa’s gift.
The exchange is particularly interesting because Melissa had already acknowledged during the panel that Dorinda eventually thanked her after receiving a second shipment.
However, Dorinda appeared frustrated that Melissa singled her out in the first place without fully explaining the mix-up.
As of the latest exchange, Melissa had not publicly responded to Dorinda’s comment.
The unexpected disagreement comes as Melissa continues expanding her successful sprinkle cookie business, which was inspired by one of the most memorable arguments in RHONJ history.
Longtime viewers will remember the infamous incident involving Melissa and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, during the show’s third season.
At the time, Melissa brought sprinkle cookies to a family Christmas gathering, only for Teresa to later reveal that the dessert had ended up in the garbage.
The dispute quickly became a defining moment in the sisters-in-law’s strained relationship.
Teresa famously declared that she preferred pignoli cookies, sparking years of jokes and references among RHONJ fans.
More than a decade later, Melissa turned the infamous family argument into a business opportunity.
In December 2024, she launched Sprinkle by MG, offering her own version of the Italian bakery treat that had become so closely associated with her time on RHONJ.
The brand has since expanded beyond its original sprinkle cookies to include additional baked goods, coffee and merchandise.
Melissa has also sent boxes of her products to celebrities and fellow Bravo personalities, generating attention on social media as recipients share their reactions.
Ironically, the original sprinkle cookie feud has recently resurfaced for an entirely different reason.
During an October 2026 interview with Us Weekly, Teresa claimed that she wasn’t actually the person who threw Melissa’s cookies in the trash all those years ago.
Instead, Teresa alleged that her former mother-in-law, Filomena Giudice, was responsible.
Teresa explained that she had tried to offer Melissa what she considered friendly advice about bringing bakery cookies to an Italian family gathering.
According to Teresa, she suggested that Melissa bring pignoli cookies rather than store-bought sprinkle cookies.
Melissa and Teresa have since reconciled after years of family drama, and the two have even been able to laugh about their infamous cookie disagreement.
