Camille Grammer is publicly calling out her ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer, after accusing the Frasier actor of failing to acknowledge their daughter Mason’s 25th birthday. And the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star isn’t stopping with Kelsey — she’s also taking aim at his current wife, Kayte Walsh.
On Monday, October 26, Camille shared an emotional Instagram post claiming that Mason had not received a phone call or text message from her father following her milestone birthday on October 24.
The RHOBH alum shared a throwback photograph of Kelsey holding Mason as a baby, but made her feelings about her ex-husband clear by covering his face with a clown emoji.
“A daughter should never have to wonder whether her father remembers her birthday. Three days later, and still not a call or a text. 💔,” Camille wrote.
Camille continued by criticizing the difference between Kelsey’s public image as a successful Hollywood actor and what she believes has been his failure to show up for their daughter privately.
“You can be a beloved actor to the world, but being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off,” she wrote.
“Fame, accolades, and public admiration mean very little if you neglect the people who should matter most.”
Camille explained that she was hurt on behalf of her daughter, emphasizing how disappointing it was for such a significant occasion to pass without an acknowledgment from her father.
“25 is a milestone birthday. Sometimes the silence is deafening, and the disappointment speaks volumes.”
But Camille’s criticism didn’t end with Kelsey.
In the comments section of her Instagram post, the former Housewife also called out his current wife, Kayte Walsh, suggesting that Mason has felt increasingly excluded from her father’s life and home.
“A stepmother should want to encourage a healthy, loving relationship between a father and his daughter. Sadly, from my perspective, that hasn’t been Mason’s experience. Instead, she has felt increasingly excluded from her father’s life and home. No matter the adult relationships involved, a daughter deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and loved—not pushed to the sidelines. A 25th birthday should be a celebration of love, not another reminder of the distance between a father and his child. ❤️”
Camille’s remarks suggest that her concerns extend beyond a forgotten birthday and reflect what she believes has been an ongoing issue in Mason’s relationship with her father.
The accusations are particularly significant considering Camille and Kelsey’s complicated history following their highly publicized divorce.
The former couple married in 1997 and share two children, Mason and Jude.
Their marriage famously unraveled during the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, when Camille learned that Kelsey had become romantically involved with Kayte.
The breakdown of their marriage became a major storyline during RHOBH’s inaugural season, with Camille navigating the end of their relationship while filming the show.
The couple officially divorced in February 2011, and Kelsey married Kayte later that same month.
Their relationship has remained strained in the years since.
During a May 2026 appearance on the Humble Bragg podcast, Camille revealed that she and Kelsey had not spoken in approximately 14 years.
Camille also discussed the challenges of raising Mason and Jude following their divorce, explaining that Kelsey favored an arrangement he described as “parallel parenting,” rather than traditional co-parenting.
The former Housewife has previously spoken about how difficult the divorce was for their children, who were still young when their parents separated.
Now, more than 15 years after their divorce, Camille’s latest post suggests that she believes the strained family dynamic continues to affect Mason.
By publicly criticizing Kayte, Camille is also questioning whether Kelsey’s current wife has done enough to encourage a relationship between her husband and his daughter.
However, Camille’s comments reflect her perspective, and Kelsey and Kayte have not publicly shared their side of these latest allegations.
For Camille, the issue appears to be about much more than a missed phone call.
Her message suggests she believes Mason deserves to feel included and loved by her father, regardless of the complicated history between the adults.
