Gia Giudice believes the Giudice and Gorga family drama is finally in the past.
After years of tension between Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga, Gia is opening up about where things stand now that the family has reconciled.
During an appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast, the Next Gen NYC star said the family is in a much better place after Teresa repaired her relationship with Joe and Melissa last year.
“It’s been great. We see them a lot,” Gia said. “I think it’s such a healthier environment.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey family feud has been one of the longest-running and most emotional storylines in Bravo history. Teresa, Joe and Melissa’s issues played out for years on RHONJ, with their fractured relationship impacting not only the adults, but also the cousins who grew up in the middle of it.
But according to Gia, the family is now focused on moving forward.
“I think no matter what, you’re going to have the people who love when our families fight and then the people that love when we’re together,” Gia said. “And we love being together.”
Gia also said she believes time and maturity have helped everyone realize what really matters.
“I just think when you get older, too, you realize what’s important, what’s not, and how precious life is, and we’re over it,” she explained.
Gia then made a bold prediction about the future of the family, saying she does not believe they will ever return to the dark place they were once in.
“I know they said multiple times it’s never going to happen again, and truthfully I do not think we will ever go back to that place, truthfully,” Gia said.
Gia’s comments come as RHONJ prepares for a new chapter following the show’s long pause and cast shake-up. Teresa, Melissa and Dolores Catania are expected to return for Season 15, with new women also joining the group.
