Meredith Marks is opening up about why she decided to return for another season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and it turns out fans came very close to losing her.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Meredith admitted that after a difficult previous season, she seriously considered walking away from the show.
“I kind of thought I was going to tap out too, to be totally honest,” Meredith said.
Meredith explained that Season 6 was not an easy experience for her, and she did not want that to be the note she left on.
“I came back thinking I don’t want to leave on a sour note because Season 6 was not fun,” Meredith said.
Her plan was simple. She thought she would return, take things easy, have a lighter season and then say goodbye when it was over.
“So I’ll come back and take it easy and have a lovely season and say bye bye at the end,” she explained.
But that plan changed quickly.
According to Meredith, only a few weeks into filming, she realized she was actually enjoying herself again.
“A few weeks in I thought I’m having so much fun I can do this forever,” Meredith said.
She then made it clear that she is not leaving RHOSLC anytime soon.
“So you’re not getting rid of me this fast,” she added. “I had the most fun this season ever.”
So for anyone wondering if Meredith Marks is ready to leave RHOSLC, the answer seems to be no.
At least not yet.
