Andy Cohen is weighing in on Phaedra Parks and CT Tamburello’s unexpected new relationship, and according to Andy, this did not come out of nowhere.
During today’s episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy revealed that Phaedra had actually mentioned CT to him weeks before fans started buzzing about the two spending time together publicly.
The conversation came up when a caller asked Andy if he had seen the recent chatter about Phaedra and CT, especially after the two were spotted in Fire Island.
“Did you see CT and Phaedra? Because they were in Fire Island as well,” the caller asked.
Andy explained that he did not overlap with them during the trip, but he already knew they had been hanging out.
“You know, I didn’t think I texted her. They got there right when I left, but Phaedra had mentioned that she was hanging out with CT to me a month or two ago and I was like, ‘Wow, I love this,’” Andy said.
Andy admitted he was immediately intrigued by the pairing, but said he purposely did not push Phaedra for too much information.
“So, I was really happy,” Andy continued. “I wanted to be very kind of, not only discreet, but I didn’t want to pry and I just was like, ‘Well, I guess if this keeps going, I’ll hear about it,’ and then we all heard about it.”
The Bravo boss also addressed the fan speculation over whether the relationship is actually real.
“I know there were some people like, ‘Is this real? Is this real?’” Andy said. “Seems very real to me.”
Phaedra and CT’s relationship has quickly become one of the more surprising Bravo-adjacent pairings to get fans talking. Phaedra, best known for The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Married to Medicine, crossed paths with CT through the reality TV competition world.
The two appeared together on The Traitors, where fans immediately noticed their chemistry. Phaedra’s playful flirting with CT became one of the most talked-about parts of the season, with viewers loving how naturally the two bounced off each other.
CT, a longtime Challenge legend, has his own massive fan base, making the pairing even more unexpected and entertaining for reality TV viewers.
