Caroline Manzo is sharing a scary health wake-up call with fans.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum took to Instagram to reveal that despite feeling good, working out every day and believing she was doing everything right, a recent physical and extensive bloodwork showed something very different was happening inside her body.
Caroline said she initially resisted getting a deeper health screening because she assumed her lifestyle meant everything was fine.
“In my arrogance, I work out every day. I look great. I feel great. I’m doing everything right,” Caroline told her followers. “I eat super clean. I drink water. I don’t drink [alcohol except] socially and yet I am a heart attack waiting to happen.”
According to Caroline, it was her daughter Lauren Manzo who pushed her to get a complete blood panel.
“I had been resistant to it,” Caroline admitted. “As you know, I’ve been working out. I’m doing everything right. I’m eating right. I’m doing everything you’re supposed to do.”
Eventually, Caroline agreed to go through with the testing.
“Finally, I said alright,” she said. “It’s all about women’s health and wellness. About six weeks ago, I did a complete blood panel where they send it away and test for everything. I went to Labcorp and I got more work. They took seven or eight vials of blood. Got more bloodwork done.”
That is when Caroline says she learned she had several health issues she did not know about.
The RHONJ alum revealed that doctors told her she has a fatty liver, very low Vitamin B levels and a Vitamin D deficiency.

She also said her toxin level was alarmingly high.
“My toxin level is at 93 or 98 percent, a critical level,” Caroline shared.
The news stunned Caroline because she believed she had been doing all the right things.
“This is from somebody, who in her arrogance, says, ‘I don’t need this. I’m great!’” she said. “No!”
Caroline said doctors told her the issue was not her habits but her genetics.
“They said to me, ‘You are doing everything right. It’s your genetics,’” Caroline explained.
Now, Caroline says she is in “beast mode” and focused on getting her health back on track.
“I cannot believe that, for somebody who thought she was doing everything right, has so much going on in her body that I did not know about,” she said.
Caroline added, “Now, I have to fix all this, I have to combat it.”
The Bravo alum said she plans to bring her followers along as she works through her health journey, hoping her experience encourages other women to stop assuming everything is fine just because they feel okay.
“I want to share with you guys going forward,” Caroline said. “You think you’re great and you may not be.”
She ended with a message to fans.
“You need to get yourselves checked!”
Caroline’s warning is a reminder that looking healthy and feeling healthy does not always tell the full story. Even with clean eating, exercise and healthy routines, bloodwork and regular checkups can reveal issues that are not obvious on the outside.
