Porsha Williams is giving fans a little taste of what went down on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, and according to her, Luann de Lesseps was not exactly the easygoing castmate she expected.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight’s Brice Sander, Porsha opened up about joining Housewives OGs from across the franchise for the cross-country adventure, which celebrates 20 years of The Real Housewives.
Porsha admitted she originally thought she and Luann would instantly click because they both have a fun, free-spirited energy.
“I didn’t expect that because Luann is a fun girl like me,” Porsha said. “She’s a free spirit. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re gonna have a good time.’”
But apparently, the vibes shifted.
Porsha teased that Luann became a little too much at one point, and she eventually had to check her.
“It was a little too much Luann, and I was like, ‘Okay, one of you got to sit the hell down,’” Porsha explained. “I had to gather her. It was not pretty. But it was needed, and then we got back right.”
When asked who annoyed her the most during the trip, Porsha did not hesitate to name Luann.
“I would have to say the person that started tapping on that last nerve was Luann for sure,” Porsha said. “She was just like, singing on it, that last nerve; it was definitely Luann.”
Porsha also hinted that Luann was not the only Housewife who tested the group.
“If I’m giving a little bit away, I would have to say Lisa tapped on a couple people’s nerves, just one time,” Porsha added, referring to RHOSLC star Lisa Barlow.
While Luann may have pushed Porsha’s buttons, Vicki Gunvalson apparently ended up surprising her in a good way.
When asked who surprised her the most, Porsha immediately named the RHOC OG.
“Vicki,” Porsha said.
Porsha explained that she expected Vicki to be all business and not fully present with the group.
“I knew this girl was all about her work. I knew she wouldn’t be paying us no attention. I knew she was gonna act like she wasn’t gonna be there.”
But according to Porsha, Vicki had a major shift during filming.
“She had a midseason change,” Porsha teased. “I will say she was the most improved because by the end of the season, you’re gonna see what she turned into.”
Porsha’s comments make it sound like RHUGT: Roaring 20th will deliver exactly what fans want from an all-star Housewives trip: unexpected friendships, personality clashes, iconic one-liners and women from different franchises trying to figure each other out in real time.
The cast includes some of Bravo’s biggest names, including Porsha, Luann, Vicki, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow.
And with Porsha teasing that she had to “gather” Luann while Vicki had a surprising turnaround, fans can expect plenty of drama before the trip is over.
