Andy Cohen is sharing how he really feels when Bravo stars show up to a reunion without watching their season back.
During a Q&A on Threads, Andy told fans he was answering questions while on a plane, writing, “On a plane and up for Q/A to kill some time if you wanna post some Q’s below ….”
One fan asked Andy, “How do you honestly feel when someone comes to a reunion without having watched the season back?”
Andy admitted that while it is not ideal, he does understand why some cast members struggle to relive a difficult season.
“It’s not my preference but I feel like showing up at the reunion is hard when you’ve had a terrible season,” Andy wrote. “So I give them credit for showing up to face the music at least.”
Andy’s comment immediately had Bravo fans thinking about cast members who have admitted they did not fully watch their season before sitting down at a reunion.
Most recently, Summer House fans called out Amanda Batula after she revealed she did not watch the season back before the reunion, despite the season heavily focusing on the breakdown of her marriage to Kyle Cooke.
Amanda and Kyle announced their separation in January, and their relationship became one of the biggest storylines across Summer House and In the City. The former couple later opened up during the reunion about the lack of intimacy in their marriage, with Kyle revealing they only had sex three times during their four-year marriage.
Amanda explained that part of the issue was her depression, along with a lack of emotional intimacy and romance in the marriage.
“I was depressed,” Amanda said during the In the City reunion. “Depression will do that.”
She also said she felt disconnected from Kyle emotionally and wanted to be courted.
“I wasn’t getting courted,” Amanda said. “There were no dates.”
Amanda added that Kyle would work all day and all night before coming to bed and trying to be intimate without any emotional build-up.
“It felt like there was no foreplay. There was no emotional intimacy. There was no conversation,” Amanda said. “There was nothing else happening in the relationship.”
Amanda also admitted, “I felt like I was just an object at that point.”
Given how personal and painful the season was, some viewers understood why Amanda may not have wanted to watch it back. Others felt that not watching the season made it harder for her to fully answer reunion questions and take accountability for moments fans had seen on camera.
