Tamra Judge is sharing where things really stand with Shannon Beador, and she isn’t holding back.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star spoke with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea about her complicated friendship with Shannon, admitting that their relationship continues to go back and forth.
“We move forward, then we move back, we move forward, then we move back,” Tamra said of their infamously rocky friendship.
Tamra claimed that while she and Shannon Beador are currently in a better place, she does not believe Shannon wants fans to know that.
“I feel like now we’re doing good, but I don’t think she wants anybody to know we’re doing good,” Tamra said.
Tamra then shared a shady theory about Shannon, suggesting that her longtime RHOC frenemy pays close attention to what fans say about Tamra online.
“Some people just act for the comments section of Instagram,” Tamra said.
Tamra also admitted there could be another reason Shannon is keeping their friendship status quiet. According to Tamra, Shannon may not want to spoil what plays out on Season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“Unless she doesn’t want to give it away yet. It could be that, too,” Tamra said. “But I’m like, come on, they see us together and we’re photographed and we post pictures.”
Tamra and Shannon’s friendship has been up and down for years, but things took a major turn during RHOC Season 18.
At the time, Tamra was openly critical of Shannon’s drinking following Shannon’s DUI. Their friendship became even more strained when Tamra aligned herself with Alexis Bellino, who returned to RHOC as a friend of the cast.
Alexis was dating Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, at the time. John and Alexis have since married.
Shannon and Tamra have struggled to fully recover from that fallout. Tamra attempted to apologize in Season 19, but Shannon’s trust issues made it difficult for them to rebuild the close friendship they once had.
Now, the drama appears to be continuing into RHOC Season 20.
Tensions between Shannon and Tamra also carried over into The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, where the two had an explosive argument while filming.
Tamra told Virtual Reali-Tea that she did not think their fight was as bad as Shannon made it seem.
“I didn’t think it was that bad,” Tamra said. “She says that I called her a drunk. I don’t remember calling her a drunk … I think she called me a drunk.”
For now, Tamra says she and Shannon are on good terms, but she seems frustrated that Shannon may not want viewers to know that just yet.
