Dorit Kemsley is firing back at her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, amid their increasingly messy divorce battle.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is accusing PK of creating a “manufactured” emergency over their marital home and allegedly trying to force the sale of the property where Dorit lives with their children.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Dorit’s attorney, Samantha Spector, denied PK’s claims that Dorit has been spending big on designer clothes while ignoring the mortgage payments on their home.
Instead, Dorit claims PK is the one who failed to pay the bills after allegedly agreeing to cover the mortgage and other household expenses in lieu of paying formal child support.
Dorit says PK moved out of their marital home in May 2024 and agreed to continue paying the mortgage and expenses. However, she claims she only learned the mortgage was not being paid when foreclosure notices started arriving.
Now, Dorit is asking a judge to deny PK’s request to immediately sell the home.
In the legal filing, Dorit argued that the law was never “intended to permit the sleight of hand that PK is weaponizing to render his wife and children homeless.”
Dorit claims PK earns around $2 million per year, has additional sources of income outside the United States and has more than $400,000 in the bank.
She also pushed back against PK’s claims that she is the one spending excessively. According to Dorit, PK is the “runaway” spender.
In her court documents, Dorit pointed to what she claims was $756,000 in recent personal spending by PK over several months.
She alleges PK spent $360,000 on travel, $55,000 on clothing, including purchases at Hermès and other luxury stores, $75,000 on meals and dining, $160,000 in Venmo and Zelle payments to third parties and $103,000 in cash withdrawals.
Dorit is asking the court to require PK to use his money to bring the mortgage current so she and their children do not have to move.
The RHOBH star is also seeking $21,000 per month in child support, $22,000 per month in spousal support and $347,000 in retroactive support payments.
Dorit is also asking for PK to be sanctioned $40,000 over his alleged behavior in court.
The reality star also addressed PK’s claims about her spending on clothing.
Dorit says the clothing purchases were made for filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to the filing, she spent $217,000 on wardrobe for Season 15 and $500,000 on previous seasons, totaling around $713,000 over a 26-month period.
However, Dorit claims PK’s numbers do not account for the fact that many of those charges were later refunded or credited back to her account because much of the wardrobe and accessories were returned to stores after they did not fit or were otherwise unsuitable.
Dorit’s attorney argued that PK only claims financial hardship when it comes time to support Dorit and their children.
“Rather, his financial struggles are invoked only when he is asked to support his wife and dependent children,” Dorit’s attorney stated. “The evidence, however, demonstrates that this purported financial emergency is not the product of financial necessity, but rather of PK’s own decision-making.”
The latest filing marks another explosive chapter in Dorit and PK’s split.
The former couple announced their separation in May 2024 after years of marriage and share two children together, Jagger and Phoenix.
Their divorce has continued to play out both publicly and legally, with Dorit now accusing PK of refusing to financially support the home their children live in while allegedly spending large amounts on travel, luxury items, dining and cash withdrawals.
