Andy Cohen is teasing a new energy for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15.
After Bravo announced the returning cast members earlier this year, Andy appears very happy with how Teresa Giudice is enjoying herself while filming the upcoming season.
During the Wednesday, July 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy addressed Teresa’s oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, who was sitting in the audience.
That is when Andy made a major statement about Teresa and RHONJ Season 15.
“Gia, I can’t believe it, but your mom might be having fun filming her show for the first time in the history of the Housewives of New Jersey,” Andy said.
Gia laughed and agreed with Andy’s take.
“That’s a very true statement,” Gia replied. “But she’s having so much fun.”
Andy then added, “I’m thrilled.”
While Andy did not reveal specific details about the new season, his excitement — along with Gia confirming Teresa is genuinely enjoying herself — says a lot about the direction RHONJ may be heading.
Teresa went into filming Season 15 after reconciling with her brother, Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, following their long-standing family feud.
Their reconciliation has already created major buzz among RHONJ fans, especially after several seasons of the family being divided both on and off camera.
Andy previously spoke with Variety in June and said he believed Teresa and Melissa’s reconciliation was real. He explained that the family had been living in a better place for months before Bravo decided to begin filming again.
The timing seems to have made a major difference.
After years of RHONJ being centered around family tension, loyalty battles and emotional fallout, Season 15 may show a different side of Teresa.
Now, with the family reconciliation and a renewed cast dynamic, Teresa appears to be entering this season with a lighter energy.
And if Andy and Gia’s comments are any indication, RHONJ Season 15 may be giving fans a version of Teresa they have not seen in a long time.
