Meredith Marks appears to be reacting to the recent headlines surrounding her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costars Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas.
After reports surfaced that Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, are allegedly “living separate lives,” and Angie and her husband, Shawn Trujillo, have reportedly separated after nearly three decades of marriage, Meredith took to Threads with a pointed message about irony, negativity and karma.
Meredith wrote, “It’s ironic when you see everything that has been said about you manifest in the people who said it. Much more to come on this subject but people who spread negativity about an aspect of someone else’s life usually are insecure of that in their own life. 2026 has been a year of karma in so many different ways💖”
While Meredith did not name Whitney or Angie directly, fans quickly began speculating that her post may have been aimed at some of her RHOSLC costars, especially given the timing of the recent marriage headlines.
Meredith then followed up with a clarification, making it clear she was not celebrating anyone’s pain.
“Let me be clear for those of you who are trying to read too deeply into my comment. I do not wish ill upon anyone or celebrate anyone’s demise,” Meredith wrote.
Still, Meredith said she does notice the irony when people who have allegedly lied about her later face their own difficult situations.
“But I do note the irony in karma when someone has continually lied about me to hide their own truths,” she continued.
Meredith also teased that viewers may not know the full context of what she is referring to.
“As I said you don’t even know about many of the issues I am referencing here but I do believe in karma and I do hope all the people in my life find their own happiness, whatever that means for them,” Meredith added.
Meredith’s comments come as RHOSLC fans are already buzzing about major reported changes in the cast’s personal lives.
Page Six recently reported that Whitney and Justin Rose are allegedly “living separate lives” after more than 16 years of marriage, with sources claiming financial strain contributed to issues between the two.
Meanwhile, Angie and Shawn reportedly separated after 27 years of marriage. The longtime couple married in 1999, share daughter Elektra and also co-founded Lunatic Fringe Salon together.
Both marriages have been featured on RHOSLC over the years, with viewers seeing Whitney and Justin navigate financial stress, reality TV pressure and business changes, while Angie has publicly defended her marriage to Shawn amid past rumors and cast speculation.
That history is likely why Meredith’s comment is getting attention.
RHOSLC has often centered around accusations, rumors and questions about cast members’ marriages. Meredith herself has been on the receiving end of speculation and criticism over her marriage to Seth Marks throughout the series.
Now, with some of her costars facing their own public relationship headlines, Meredith seems to be pointing out what she sees as irony.
While she insists she does not wish anyone harm, Meredith is also making it clear that she believes karma has been very present in 2026.
