Whitney Rose and Justin Rose’s marriage is reportedly going through a difficult chapter.
According to Page Six, multiple sources claim The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star and her husband of more than 16 years are “living separate lives.” Some insiders even alleged that the couple is fully separated.
“They are never together, even when they’re in the same place, like the gym,” one insider claimed.
Whitney and Justin married in November 2009 and share two children together, daughter Bobbie and son Brooks. Justin is also a father to three sons from his first marriage.
Sources told Page Six that both Whitney and Justin have expressed “frustrations” about their marriage to trusted loved ones, with one insider claiming the two are “existing” as a couple “for the sake of the kids.”
One source also pointed to the pressure of reality TV, saying, “This show is so bad on relationships.”
Whitney and Justin’s marriage has been featured on RHOSLC since the beginning, and viewers have watched the couple navigate plenty of highs and lows over the years.
Their relationship was controversial from the start, as Whitney has been open about the fact that she and Justin began their romance while they were both married to other people. The affair led to both of them leaving their marriages, and Whitney has spoken about being excommunicated from the Mormon church as a result.
Despite the difficult beginning, Whitney and Justin often presented themselves as a united team on RHOSLC. Justin was supportive of Whitney as she stepped into the Housewives world, opened up about her past trauma, explored her healing journey and worked on growing her businesses.
But their marriage has not been without major stress.
One of their most talked-about moments came during Season 2, when Whitney and Justin filmed the now-infamous “Love Is Art” scene. The intimacy exercise showed the couple stripping down to their underwear and covering each other in body paint.
A month after the episode aired, Justin was fired from his senior executive role at LifeVantage Corporation, a direct-sales health and wellness company.
At the time, Whitney claimed on RHOSLC that Justin’s firing was connected to how their marriage and intimacy had been portrayed on the show. The couple later discussed the emotional and financial impact of his job loss, with Justin admitting the situation was difficult after years of being a provider.
The financial strain continued to be part of their storyline, especially as Whitney invested in her businesses and the couple adjusted to changes in income.
According to Page Six, that financial stress has contributed to the alleged breakdown of their marriage in recent years.
Whitney has also been open in the past about the challenges of balancing marriage, motherhood, business and reality TV. On RHOSLC, she has spoken about wanting to find her voice, heal from past pain and become more independent — all while Justin adjusted to his own career setbacks and life changes.
In her November 2025 anniversary post, Whitney acknowledged that she and Justin had “been through” a lot together, but said they had loved each other “every step of the way.”
However, fans have noticed signs that things may have changed.
Justin was noticeably missing from Whitney’s recent Instagram carousel, though he did like the post.
“This summer I have been enjoying the simple things that bring my life the deepest sense of happiness and joy ✨,” Whitney captioned the 18-slide post.
She listed the things currently bringing her happiness, including “Time with my family, Bobbie & Brooks, sunrises, sunsets, food, golf, friends, mountains, sunshine [and] healing.”
Another source claimed Whitney was barely at the home she shares with Justin before RHOSLC Season 7 began filming in late February. Production wrapped in late May, though it remains unclear how much of the alleged marital trouble will play out on camera.
The reported marriage issues come as RHOSLC has seen several cast members face major personal changes, with Angie Katsanevas and Shawn Trujillo also reportedly separating after nearly three decades together.
