Andy Cohen is teasing what fans can expect from the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
During today’s episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy discussed the new RHONY trailer and shared his excitement over the response from Bravo fans.
“Everybody’s abuzz about the RHONY trailer,” Andy said.
John Hill shared that he watched the trailer and was impressed.
“It’s good, right?” Andy asked.
“It’s really good,” John responded.
Andy admitted he does not want to overhype the season, but said he was happy to see fans reacting positively to the trailer.
“You know, trying not to oversell it, but I will say I was very gratified by the response,” Andy said.
Jordan Fazio also shared that the trailer changed how he felt about the upcoming season.
“I am very into it,” Jordan said. “I was a little lukewarm on RHONY the past season, but I’m very excited by this trailer.”
John then joked, “Well, now that one girl is gone…”
Andy went on to praise the new additions to the cast, including Hailey, Daisy and Erika.
“Hailey, Daisy, Erika, great new additions,” Andy said.
He also teased Carole Radziwill’s return to the RHONY world, saying it feels familiar but also fresh.
“Carole, like seeing an old friend, but boy, Carole has a lightness about her and also she is deeply in the mix,” Andy shared. “And yeah. It’s a lot of fun.”
Carole’s return has already sparked plenty of conversation, especially after the trailer teased tension between her and Sai De Silva over questions involving Jeffrey Epstein.
The trailer also features a surprising Martha Stewart connection, thanks to new cast member Daisy, who works as Martha’s makeup artist.
When Jordan brought up Martha, Andy confirmed viewers will see her more than once.
“Martha is in it several times,” Andy said.
John pointed out that Daisy is Martha’s makeup artist, and Andy confirmed, “Yes, exactly. That’s exactly right.”
Andy said he is excited for fans to see the season and also praised the visuals surrounding the show.
“So excited to share that with everybody,” Andy said. “Also, frankly, you know, I thought that the art surrounding the show is the best. The photographs are absolutely beautiful, just changing the game. So very excited about that.”
The new RHONY season appears to be bringing in fresh energy with new cast members, familiar faces and unexpected connections.
And based on Andy’s reaction, Bravo may be feeling confident about what is ahead.
