Katie Ginella Claims RHOC Cast “Banded Together” To Get Her Off The Show After Shannon Beador Allegedly Said She Felt “Unsafe”

Katie Ginella is speaking out about her exit from The Real Housewives of Orange County, and she is making some major claims about what allegedly happened behind the scenes.

During an appearance on Undressed with Pol’ and Patrik, Katie claimed she heard that Shannon Beador told someone in production she felt “unsafe” around her.

“I was told that Shannon told somebody in production that she felt unsafe around me, that I’m not a safe person,” Katie said.

Katie denied being unsafe and said she believes that wording carried weight with production.

“And when you’re working for a big corporation, those words mean something,” Katie continued. “When you say those words, they have to take it seriously, even though I’m not an unsafe person.”

According to Katie, she believes that is what started the process of the cast coming together against her.

“I think that’s what started the ball rolling for them getting together and saying, ‘She needs to be off,’” Katie said.

Katie then claimed the RHOC women “banded together” to get her removed from the show.

“But I do know that the women banded together to get me off that show,” she alleged.

Katie also claimed Bravo “wouldn’t let” her do certain things after the drama unfolded.

“I couldn’t even go to Cynthia Bailey’s birthday party. They wouldn’t let me go to that.”

Katie also reflected on one of the moments that made her uncomfortable while filming RHOC, pointing to the Hotpot dinner she hosted.

“The biggest thing that made me uncomfortable was … when I hosted Hotpot,” Katie shared. “It was horrible. All they did was make fun of the food. And this is a food that is deep-rooted in Asian communities. And you are making fun of it.”

Katie specifically called out Emily Simpson for putting an egg in her purse and treating the dinner like a joke.

“Emily putting an egg in her purse and trying to make this all a joke, it’s not funny,” Katie said.

Katie also brought up Emily hosting a lie detector test with actors during a Persian New Year party, questioning why the cultural aspect of that event was not discussed more.

“Also, if you remember, she hosted that lie detector test with those actors — for a Persian New Year party,” Katie said. “How are we not talking about how she literally villainized a day that Persians celebrate?”

Katie’s latest comments come after she previously claimed that Jennifer Pedranti was also part of the reason her season ended early. Katie said Jennifer would not film with her, which she believes impacted her ability to continue and make money.

Now, Katie is claiming the issue was bigger than just one cast member.

According to Katie, Shannon allegedly using the word “unsafe” set things in motion, and the rest of the women allegedly came together to push her out.

Bravo has not publicly confirmed Katie’s claims, and Shannon has not publicly responded to Katie’s latest comments.
