Crystal Kung Minkoff is not shutting the door on a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills return.

The former RHOBH star is addressing the recent buzz that she could be open to coming back to the franchise two years after exiting the show. While Crystal says the conversation was not meant to become a huge deal, she admits she is in a very different place now than she was when she first left.
While attending the 33rd Annual Race to Erase MS Gala on June 5, Crystal spoke exclusively with E! News about why she recently said she would be open to a conversation about returning to Beverly Hills.
“I think I just needed some time and Cynthia Bailey is my co-host of Humble Brag and so she saw rumors out there and she had to ask me so it became sort of a thing,” Crystal said. “And it’s always one of those topics where Housewives in the past are asked these questions.”
Crystal previously addressed the rumors on her Humble Brag podcast with Cynthia Bailey after fans began speculating that she could be brought back for RHOBH Season 16.
At the time, Crystal made it clear that she is finally open to the idea again, though she admitted the friend role sounds especially appealing.
“Would I go back? I always dream about the friend role now,” she added. “Like, you’ve made that the ideal role. But it just depends on the cast. But yeah, I think I’d be ready. I think I’m finally ready.”
Now, Crystal is explaining that her mindset has shifted after having time away from the show.
“And for me it took a couple years to even think about doing it again but now I feel myself this year thinking, ‘Oh, what would I have done?’” she added. “I didn’t think about that in the year past. So, I think it was just that. It wasn’t a big deal but it kind of became a thing.”
Crystal joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 11 and remained on the show through Season 13. In 2024, she confirmed she would not be returning for Season 14. At the time, her exit surprised fans, especially because Crystal had finally started to open up more during her final season.

Since leaving the show, Crystal has stayed connected to Bravo through her podcast with Cynthia and her appearance on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
She also said her podcast has helped her feel more comfortable being herself, which is one of the reasons she would consider stepping back into the Housewives world.
“I just love Bravo and I love the whole experience,” Crystal explained, “and I just feel through Humble Brag I’m comfortable being myself so that’s all.”
Until then, Crystal is enjoying RHOBH from the other side, as a viewer.
“So, I used to watch Housewives, a few different franchises, and then I just stopped watching it completely when I was on the show because I just knew all the wizards,” she continued. “And now I get to enjoy the show sort of knowing a little more BTS.”
