Brandi Glanville is opening up about one of those parenting moments that every mom knows is coming, but no one is ever really ready for.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum appeared on Netflix’s Calabasas Confidential, where she shared the awkward way she realized her oldest son, Mason Cibrian, was no longer a little kid.
Glanville, who shares Mason, 22, and Jake, 19, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, recalled walking past Mason’s room when he was a teenager and realizing he had entered a new chapter of growing up.
“I remember realizing he wasn’t a virgin when I walked by his room,” Brandi recalled.
Glanville told Mason’s friend Emilie Nelson that the moment caught her completely off guard.
“I was just like, ‘F–k my life. My son is not a virgin anymore,’” Brandi said.
The RHOBH alum said Mason was around 15 or 16 years old at the time and admitted she had an emotional mom reaction.
“I was crying,” Glanville confessed. “I’m like, ‘I am so uncomfortable right now.’”
The candid confession is very on brand for Brandi, who has always been known for being unfiltered. Still, the moment was less about shock value and more about a mom realizing her son was growing up faster than she was ready for.
Brandi also gushed over Mason’s current girlfriend, Sarah, making it clear she loves who her son is with now.
“I love [his girlfriend]. She’s the best. I want to keep her forever,” Brandi said.

Mason also opened up about Sarah during the episode, saying she is “the only person” he has dated that he can see a future with.
Brandi and Eddie Cibrian were married from 2001 to 2010 and share Mason and Jake together. Their split famously made headlines after Eddie’s affair with LeAnn Rimes, whom he later married.
Over the years, Brandi has spoken openly about co-parenting, raising her boys and navigating life after RHOBH. But this latest confession may be one of her most relatable parenting stories yet.
Because no matter how old your kids get, some moments will always make a mom want to cover her ears and pretend they are still little.
