Dorit Kemsley is not exactly hiding out after her messy split from estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley took another dramatic turn this week.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was spotted out in Los Angeles on Friday looking surprisingly carefree despite the chaos surrounding her divorce. Dorit kept things casual in a slate blue sweater and fitted jeans as she flashed a smile while getting out of a car with a backpack in hand.
The low key outing comes as leaked court documents and alleged text messages between Dorit and PK continue making headlines online.
According to the reported texts, obtained by TMZ, tensions between the former couple have completely exploded over money, foreclosure fears, and accusations about spending habits.
At one point, Dorit allegedly told PK, “In the meantime, I’ll continue focusing on what the kids need. Where are you getting those reports of my expenditure?”
PK reportedly fired back, “Dorit I have your bank statements. They were legally requested as part of a financial disclosure subpoena.”
Dorit did not appear happy about that response and allegedly replied, “Because those are personal, they’re not for your consumption and if you are invading my privacy, it’s a big problem for me. So I would focus on doing what I do which is live my life while supporting my children.”
The drama reportedly escalated after court filings claimed Dorit spent nearly $1 million on designer clothing and luxury purchases over the past year while the couple’s financial situation continued spiraling.
PK allegedly responded in another message, “No love it’s all legal. Fortunately for you I have no intention of sharing these outside of counsel. However the concept you have that you can do what you like, whilst asking me to make essential payments on your behalf is not quite the case.”
He also reportedly added, “Discussing financials does not mean that we should not communicate as friends. However you’re going to be asking me for money that I’m simply not going to provide without an agreement.”
And that was apparently only the beginning.
New court documents reportedly reveal PK wants the former couple’s marital home sold as foreclosure concerns intensify. The pair are allegedly dealing with roughly $6 million in mortgage debt tied to the property.
PK also claimed he offered for Dorit and their two children to move into his current residence temporarily because of the financial issues. According to the filings, Dorit allegedly shut the idea down immediately and told him, “Over my f*cking dead body.”
The filings also accuse Dorit of refusing to cooperate in financial discussions while allegedly sending “harassing, caustic, erratic, and deflecting” messages during negotiations.
PK further claimed Dorit attempted to pressure him into sending money for a spring break vacation and allegedly requested two separate $50,000 payments. He also accused her of threatening to damage his reputation and relationship with his girlfriend if he refused.
The former couple has also been battling over the narrative surrounding their finances after Dorit discussed their issues on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. PK reportedly insists Dorit knew about the mortgage problems and foreclosure risks long before they became public.
Even with the legal war heating up by the day, Dorit seems determined to keep things business as usual in public. But between the leaked texts, foreclosure claims, and accusations flying from both sides, this Beverly Hills breakup is clearly far from over.
