Jo-Ellen Tiberi is spilling even more tea about the alleged affair drama surrounding Rulla Pontarelli’s husband, Brian Pontarelli, and the accusations are getting messier by the minute.
During an appearance on “The Twot Seat,” Jo Ellen opened up about why she eventually showed Rulla photos tied to Brian’s alleged cheating scandal and claimed there was far more happening behind the scenes than viewers realized.
“Everyone said, ‘Why didn’t you tell Rulla [about the photos]?’ Let’s go back. I did not know Rulla. I had never heard of her,” said Jo-Ellen. “So when I saw these pictures online, I sent them to Liz, and I was like, ‘Oh shit, that’s that woman that might be on the show.’”
Jo Ellen explained that she initially felt uncomfortable getting involved because she did not personally know Rulla at the time.
“I’m not going to text some random stranger. And then Liz told her and told her about the pictures. Rulla called me and said, ‘Do you mind showing me?’ So I did. It was very awkward.”
She went on to claim the alleged affair was hardly a secret and said people across the area already knew what was going on.
Jo Ellen claimed the “whole state” knew about the alleged relationship because Brian was supposedly “walking around with the mistress.”
Despite the explosive allegations, Jo Ellen said she sympathized with both women involved.
“I feel for both Rulla and the mistress because they both got taken by this guy,” said Jo-Ellen. “He promised the world to the mistress, ‘I’m leaving her, I love you, I got you a ring, here’s the divorce papers.’ He’s promising one thing to her, and then he’s saying something completely different to Rulla. They’re both victims. But I obviously don’t condone it.”
Jo Ellen also questioned why nobody else on the show addressed the alleged cheating situation sooner.
“Somebody else should have brought [the affair] up,” she said later. “We’re on a TV show. It should have been brought up. … But no one else did, including the people that have known Rullafor a while.”
The reality star then dropped another shocking allegation involving Brian’s explanation for leaving during one of the situations connected to the alleged affair.
According to Jo Ellen, Brian “knew” she was “friendly with the mistress” and allegedly lied about his mother going to the hospital.
“There were so many lies in that situation.… The mom did not go to the hospital. He was trying to go to the mistress because she was upset with him.”
With accusations of cheating, secret meetups and alleged lies now swirling publicly, this reality TV drama is becoming impossible for fans to ignore.
