Jennifer Fessler is coming to West Wilson’s defense.
The “RHONJ” star weighed in on the ongoing chatter surrounding the “Summer House” star and his messy situation with Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula and according to Fessler, people may be going a little too hard on him.
Speaking to Page Six alongside fellow “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Margaret Josephs, the two Bravolebrities shared their thoughts on the latest “Summer House” controversy that has fans completely divided online.
“Ciara should just thank them and write them a thank you note. Better to know now,” Margaret said.
Fessler meanwhile made it clear she still has a soft spot for West despite the backlash he has been facing from viewers this season.
“I love Ciara. Everyone loves Ciara. She is impossible not to love but I also love West Wilson. I think he’s the cutest sweetest golden retriever puppy dog,” Fessler said.
Margaret then joked that West is basically the “Temu Benson Boone.”
“It’s not that I don’t like him but it’s okay,” Margaret added.
Fessler continued to defend the Bravo star insisting fans need to ease up on him amid the fallout from his actions involving Ciara.
“He doesn’t mean any harm. He didn’t mean it. He is just trying to have a good time and he doesn’t want to hurt anyone. Give him a break,” she said.
The drama surrounding West has been heating up among “Summer House” fans after Ciara previously opened up about feeling hurt over how their relationship played out after last season. Their romance became one of the biggest storylines on the show with viewers heavily invested in whether the pair would actually make it long term.
Things only intensified after Amanda Batula recently weighed in during conversations about West’s behavior which reignited debate among fans online. Many viewers accused West of leading Ciara on while others argued he simply was not ready for the serious relationship Ciara wanted.
Still despite the backlash, it looks like Fessler is firmly Team West.
And if you ask Margaret Josephs, maybe Ciara dodged a bullet anyway.
