Margaret Josephs Says She Was a “Good Friend” to Teresa; Claims Talking Bad About Louie Ruelas Was in Her Best Interest

Margaret Josephs may be off The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but she’s clearly not done revisiting her issues with Teresa Giudice.

In a clip shared by X user @Sunny66878, Margaret reflected on how her relationship with Teresa started — and how it ultimately unraveled.

“Teresa Giudice, I will say I can screenshot when I first met her. She was very sweet and namaste,” Margaret said, adding that they initially got along well, even bonding during a wreath ceremony for Teresa’s mother.

But Margaret quickly shifted to listing the moments she believes changed everything.

“She told Danielle to pull my hair. She threw an entire table of food at me. She blamed me for the downfall, that I’m the reason everyone hates her husband. The list can go on and on.”

Despite that, Margaret maintained that her intentions were always genuine.

“Teresa doesn’t want to hear the truth and I was actually a good friend to her. I did care for her and when I said anything bad about her husband it was in her best interest.”

That claim, however, comes with some context.

Margaret has repeatedly taken aim at Teresa’s husband, Luis Ruelas, both on and off the show. She previously formed a relationship with his ex, who had a restraining order against him, and has publicly questioned his finances.

In fact, Margaret recently admitted that she and Jackie Goldschneider would actively monitor Louie’s business performance, and laugh about it.

“I’ll give you another example. Her and I used to, because she’s smart, we would look at Louie’s stock pricing falling every day on his company,” she said. “She would send me a screenshot and then I would send her a screenshot and at one point, it was like 47 cents… then it was kicked off the stock exchange.”

She didn’t shy away from how they reacted either.

“And she would laugh and say look at this s**t and her and I, you know we’re petty bitches when it comes to stuff like that.”

While Margaret frames her comments as coming from a place of honesty and concern, it’s not surprising that the dynamic with Teresa deteriorated. At a certain point, repeatedly criticizing , and even mocking, someone’s husband is bound to cross a line, regardless of intent.

And in that context, it’s easier to see why Teresa may not have viewed those actions as friendship.
