Janet Caperna is stirring the pot yet again, and this time, fans are side-eyeing her delivery.
During the The Valley After Show, Janet inserted herself into an already awkward conversation and managed to take it a step further, making a pointed—and arguably unnecessary—comment about Luke Broderick, who is engaged Kristen Doute.
The topic? A bizarre but very real Bravo crossover: Luke previously donated sperm to a donor bank—the same one Lala Kent used when conceiving her daughter, Sosa.
While there’s no indication the two are actually connected beyond that coincidence, the situation has raised eyebrows—especially after Lala herself joked that her child looks like Luke.
Naturally, the group leaned into the speculation. But Janet’s comment is what’s now raising eyebrows.
She suggested that Lala likely chose a donor who was “college educated and stuff,” before bluntly asking, “Is Luke?”
For many viewers, the remark came off less like curiosity and more like a thinly veiled dig—one that didn’t exactly land as harmless.
Michelle Saniei then chimed in with, “Can you imagine if it was Luke’s?”
To be clear, there is zero confirmation that Luke is the donor Lala used. But between his past donations and Lala’s own comments about her child resembling him, it’s become an easy—and messy—topic for cast members to latch onto.
Still, Janet’s comment didn’t exactly land as lighthearted.
Fans are already calling it out as a dig at Luke’s intelligence and background, especially given the way she framed Lala’s supposed preferences.
