Crystal Kung Minkoff is not sugarcoating her opinion about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Amanda Frances.

While appearing on Jeff Lewis Live, Crystal reacted to Kyle Richards recently comparing her to Amanda — and she made it clear she doesn’t see it as a compliment.

“I obviously had mixed feelings,” Crystal admitted. “Because I think Amanda is incredibly annoying on that show and I would not like her. That’s how I really feel.”

Minkoff acknowledged that she understands why Kyle drew the comparison, but she pushed back on the idea that their personalities are similar.

“Amanda is very in her feelings. I get that. I can see the comparison, but I don’t really talk like Amanda,” she explained.

Her bigger issue, though, wasn’t Amanda — it was what she sees as a pattern on Beverly Hills.

“I think [Kyle] needs to figure out the show needs new blood and younger blood,” Crystal said. “If she keeps trying to push out millennials, it’s like we’re not that young. I mean, I’m 43 years old.”

Crystal went on to describe Kyle’s perspective in her own blunt way.

“Kyle’s thing with me is she is an emotional millennial and so she’s doing that with Amanda,” she said. “I’m an emotionally intelligent person.”

The comments are raising eyebrows given Crystal’s own rocky introduction to the franchise. Her first season was met with heavy fan backlash, and her time on the show ultimately ended after just a few seasons. Now, watching a new Housewife step into that spotlight, Crystal doesn’t seem interested in softening her critique.
