Christina Applegate is walking back her criticism of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast after initially slamming their behavior during Bravo’s recent Below Deck crossover episodes.

Last week, the Dead to Me actress took to X to call out what she saw as inappropriate treatment of the Below Deck crew. “The treatment of the crew and my pals by the women was super gross,” Applegate wrote Thursday. “I hope they apologized to Jason [Chambers] and Daisy [Kelliher]. Wow.”

Her comments quickly made waves among Bravo fans, who were divided over whether the RHOSLC stars crossed a line during their chartered cruise with Captain Jason Chambers and Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher.

During the episodes, Britani Bateman openly flirted with Captain Jason while on a “30-day break” from her boyfriend, Jared Osmond. Heather Gay later revealed that she and the captain had “f–ked around” in the past, while the rest of the women laughed and speculated about the situation.

Lisa Barlow, however, wasn’t amused. “Enough with the pile on,” she said. “Like, Captain Jason’s not interested. It’s, like, duh! Right? Back me up on this, Daisy.”

When Kelliher declined to comment on the captain’s feelings, Barlow added, “It’s ridiculous, and I feel bad for him. I wouldn’t want my name dragged around in a conversation that I’m not a part of. Don’t do this to people.”

She explained why she was upset with the crew writing, “I know you’re shooting your show at the same time. But seriously not even acknowledging the captain and chief stew first officer and chef Ben as they brought out your food was not cool.”

Following Applegate’s sharp reaction online, the actress returned to social media to clarify her stance and offer an apology.

“To the SLC ladies I want to apologize,” she wrote. “I was just watching and I was a bit shocked. But I realize you’re shooting a show too. And you’re my favorite franchise! Much love.”

As of now, none of the RHOSLC cast members have publicly responded to Applegate’s apology, but her follow-up message seems to have smoothed things over with Bravo fans.

Meanwhile, Captain Jason appeared unbothered by the drama. He recently shared a throwback photo with Whitney Rose and Heather Gay on Instagram Stories, captioning it, “Receipts Proof Timelines Screenshots. Sydney 2024,” referencing Gay’s iconic Season 4 line.

He also praised Angie Katsanevas for having the “strength to get back up and go back down again and rise for the last day to get through this charter.”
