Joe Giudice is opening up about his thoughts on his ex-wife Teresa reconnecting with her estranged family.
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 53, spoke to Us Weekly about the recent meeting between Teresa, her brother Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.
“I know they met Saturday night,” Joe shared, noting that Teresa’s new husband, Luis Ruelas, was reportedly present as well. While he didn’t have all the details of how the reunion went, Giudice emphasized that he hopes for a peaceful resolution. “I mean, at the end of the day, it’s still her brother,” he said.
For the sake of the kids, Joe believes Teresa should try to mend the relationship with her brother, 51. “It’s her only brother,” he pointed out. “Besides that, the cousins don’t speak… which isn’t right.”
Joe and Teresa share four daughters: Gia, 24, Gabriella, 21, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 16. Teresa’s family with Joe and Melissa includes three children: Antonia, 20, Gino, 18, and Joey Gorga Jr., 15.
Despite admitting he can hold grudges, Giudice offered Teresa a piece of advice about moving past old conflicts. “At the end of the day, you know what? I mean, get over it, because it’s like, what are you gonna do?” he said, referencing the long-standing feud between the siblings.
