The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 finale left viewers with plenty of questions, especially about what went down between Gina Kirschenheiter and Gretchen Rossi after that tense final dinner in Amsterdam. Luckily, Gina recently shed some light on the situation during her October 30 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
During the explosive finale, she confronted Gretchen after Tamra Judge allegedly showed her screenshots of Gretchen’s supposed online activity. The confrontation took place during the cast’s last dinner abroad and quickly escalated into an emotional showdown. The evening ended with Gretchen storming out and leaving the restaurant separately from the rest of the group.
When host Andy Cohen asked her what happened after the cameras stopped rolling—specifically about their trip back home—Gina admitted the atmosphere was incredibly tense. “It was so awkward,” she confessed, explaining that Gretchen didn’t travel home with the rest of the cast.
Instead, Gina revealed that Gretchen decided to stay behind. “Well, Gretchen didn’t come home with us,” she told Andy. Wanting to smooth things over, Gina said she reached out anyway. “I texted her… because I know how hard it is for Gretchen to be away from her daughter, and I was like, ‘Just come. It’ll be OK. Just get home to your child.’”
