Teresa Giudice may be the queen of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but even this Bravo icon has her limits when it comes to reality TV. On a recent episode of her podcast Turning the Tables, Giudice dropped a behind-the-scenes bombshell: she turned down Celebrity Big Brother, and she had a very specific reason.
“They did ask me to be on Big Brother,” Teresa revealed to her guest. When asked to clarify, she confirmed, “Yeah, the celebrity one.” But fans hoping to see her in the Big Brother house won’t get their wish anytime soon. “I said no because they take your phones away,” she admitted bluntly.
The conversation then shifted to Teresa’s experience on House of Villains, another show she recently appeared on. While that series had some restrictions, it didn’t fully disconnect the cast from the outside world. “At least with House of Villains, I could still use my phone during certain parts of the day,” Teresa explained, a dealbreaker that clearly tipped the scales.
Meanwhile, Bravo fans are buzzing with anticipation over the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has been in a bit of limbo following a highly dramatic Season 14. But good news may be on the horizon.
Andy Cohen gave an update during a recent interview, saying, “It was really on a deep pause, and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be.” He added emphatically, “It’s a great franchise, and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.”
So who’s likely to return for Season 15? Despite ongoing tensions, multiple sources have confirmed that both Teresa Giudice and her longtime rival (and sister-in-law) Melissa Gorga are expected to remain part of the cast. Bravo has yet to confirm the final lineup, but insiders say fan-favorite names are being seriously considered.
