The Real Housewives of Orange County has seen its fair share of shifting alliances over the years, and one of the more unexpected friendships to emerge recently is between Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino. Despite a rocky history, the two have reconnected and Tamra has officially confirmed she’ll be attending Alexis’ upcoming wedding to John Janssen.
During her July 10 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tamra shared, “I’m actually really good friends with Alexis and John. And I will be attending their wedding. Alexis is very sweet, very kind. She calls me all the time to see how I’m doing.”
Their renewed friendship comes more than a decade after their time as co-stars on RHOC. Alexis was a full-time cast member from Seasons 5 through 8, a stretch that included some memorable tension with Tamra. According to Tamra, the two reconnected at BravoCon 2023.
In a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she reflected on how her view of Alexis has changed: “If you were to ask me that two years ago, I would say, ‘Hell no, I don’t want her back.’” But after a long conversation—one Tamra says took place with Andy Cohen nearby—they were able to move forward.
RHOC Season 18 gave fans a glimpse into the current dynamic, with Alexis returning to the show as a “friend of” and becoming involved in several conversations around Shannon Storms Beador, who previously dated John Janssen.
Tamra acknowledged the situation during her WWHL appearance but kept her focus on Alexis, saying, “And even when it comes to Shannon or whatever, [Alexis is] very kind about her. What you saw last year was not the Alexis that I know. She’s just very sweet and kind. I love her. And they’re so in love.”
Tamra also confirmed that the Season 19 reunion date was moved to avoid conflicting with the wedding, which is expected to take place in September. “I know Heather Dubrow was invited,” she said. “I know that they were gonna shoot the reunion the same day as Alexis’ wedding, and they changed it last minute.”
Time will tell how this friendship continues to evolve on and off camera, but for now, Tamra and Alexis seem to be in a very different place than they were a few years ago.
